The Council has helped authors to publish a numberof books under its Publication Subsidy Scheme. The majorityof these are doctoral dissertations approved by the Councilafter rigorous scrutiny. These books are not listed in thiscatalogue.
The Council publishes two biannual journals titled TheIndian Historical Review and Itihas. As many as 36 volumesof IHR, and four volumes of the Itihas have come out sofar.
ICHR is also bringing out a newsletter (ICHRNewsletter) periodically reporting the activities anddevelopments related to ICHR and its regional centres, anddistributing its copies free of cost.
