During this year's HKLGFF, the Red Ribbon Centre (RRC) supported screening of an HIV-related

film "After Louie". The film was shown on 15, 17 and 24 September 2017. The film is aboutdifference in attitude on HIV epidemic between two generations. There were 2 short discussionsessions about proper use of pre-exposure prophylaxis after the screening on 17 and 24September 2017. RRC staff also attended the opening film session and distributed souvenirs tothe audience to promote safe sex and HIV testing.

The 9th IAS Conference on

HIV Science (IAS 2017) washeld from 22 to 24 July2017. A doctor from theDepartment of Healthattended the meeting.During the conference, newstudies on pre-exposureprophylaxis, HIV self-testing, HIV treatment were presented by experts from various countries. Sexually transmitted infections, co-infection of HIV and TB and HIV and hepatitis were also discussed in detail.
