PUBLIC RELATION BRANCH Subject: PR Action Plan for the year 2012-2013. The following PR Action Plan has been approved by the competent authority:- ~)ome of the reaching out programmes initiated in the Diamond Jubilee Year/earlier years will continue In the current year also as well as in future. It has been decided that the Suvidha Samagam will be held by the RDs/SSMCs/MS and also by SROs/DOs (Incharge). It may be ensured that at RO level, the concerned Regional Director is present alongwith SSMC/SMC and IVledical Superintendents of ESIC Hospital in such Suvidha Samagam as far as possible. The Suvidha Samagam will be also be held by Branch Managers at the Branch Office level where the local ESI Dispensary Incharge also may be requested to attend. It has also been decided that all the Dirpctorates under the respective State Govts. will be requested that such Suvidha Samagam may be held by the ESI Dispensary Incharge also where they can invite the local Branch Managers of ESIC Branch Offices. All these Suvidha Samagam will be held once in two months by each of the above officers, the dates for which should be declared in advance. The Wellness Van, the Employers-Employees Meeting, the Facilitation Counters ete. will continue their own respective reaching out initiatives in their own way. The approach/strategy for the public relation activities of ESIC will be as following:- a. High volume low cost measures. b. Through above stated reaching out programmes. c. The areas where ESI Scheme has lesser presence may have some special one to one contact awareness programmes. d. Mass media campaigns (as and when required depending upon the messages to be communicated). The tollowinq messages will be taken up for communications/media campaigns:- Cl. rr retated messages including that of Pehchan related campaign, empowerment of IPs/beneficiaries, employer related IT services ete. b. Benefit related corporate type. ~. Coverage related, in addition to revenue related communications. d. f v ledical services related communications. ~. New mitlattves/project related/improvements of services for beneficiaries. It nas been decided that top priority will be given to messages related to IT Project.
