Location: Lecanto High School, Curtis Peterson Auditorium 3810 West Educational Path, Lecanto, Florida 34461 Date and Time: Thursday, June 25, 2015 5:00 p.m. Open House, 6:00 p.m. Formal Presentation The Florida Department of Transportation, Floridas Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) held a Design Public Hearing for the Suncoast Parkway 2 project at the above location and time. The meeting included an open house at 5:00 p.m. followed by a formal public presentation and hearing at 6:00 p.m. Public testimony was taken by court reporters before and after the public hearing in the Lecanto High School gymnasium and during the public hearing in the auditorium.

2.0 PUBLIC NOTIFICATION Public hearing notification letters and project display notices were mailed to elected, appointed and agency officials. Property owners, tenants and other interested parties located within 300 feet of the project corridor were also mailed notification letters and display notices. Additional notifications were emailed to parties who requested information through the Suncoast Parkway 2 website, www.suncoast2online.com. A sample email notification is included herein. Notifications were comprised of a letter and a project display notice. The notifications described the project, public hearing details and included a project map of the alignment and the public hearing location. A copy of the mailing list, email list, display notification and an example of the elected/appointed officials and property owners notification letters are included herein. Design Public Hearing

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Floridas Turnpike Enterprise will hold a Design Public Hearing for the Suncoast Parkway 2 project. The hearing will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Lecanto High School, Curtis Peterson Auditorium. The hearing will begin as an open house from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at which time the public may review maps, drawings and pertinent information developed by FDOT. The open house will be followed by a formal presentation at 6:00 p.m. followed by a public comment period.

This Public Hearing is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the design of the proposed facility. The project has been evaluated in accordance with Federal Executive Orders 11990 (Protection of Wetlands) and 11988 (Floodplain Management).

The draft project documents for Suncoast Parkway 2 will be available for public review from June 3, 2015-July 6, 2015 at the following locations:
