Foodaroma by Alysha Bhatti (aged 8)

    The chef said, Hello

    Welcome to our show

The spinach rollClimbed on the pole

Spaghetti gave a whoop And twisted in a loop

Eggie broke his head And soaked the bread

Chicken gave a jump, And landed with a thump

Lemon and the fishSomersaulted in the dish

Strawberries and creamSlithered on the beam

The kettle now sangTo join the gang

The spoons clapped away And banged on the tray

As melon and the peachGave a thank-you speech.
