People tend to have a prejudice to a group of people without a deep research on it

Dean’ friends are having a stereotype that being a doctor is a good job and started to dream to be a doctor without considering doctor is actually a tough job.

Dean heard from his friends that who are going to take medical course for their degree that being a doctor can make more money and will be respected by the others

Dean ignore Dr. Teh’s advice which being a doctor is not as easy as he thinks and it is actually a tough occupation. He is more likely to listen to Dr. Wade’s comments which supported his belief.

FEELING SUCCESSFUL THROUGH THE SUCCESSES OF ONE’S CIRCLE AND ENHANCING THE SELF-ESTEEM JUST BY BEING IN THIS GROUP.

Dean’s mum feels good and extraordinary with Dean who is studying medicine and he will be a doctor in the future . His mother is very proud of him because doctor is really a good occupation which will be respected by the others.
Therefore, his mother started to spread the news to all of her friends and basking in the glory of his son who is going to be a doctor after he is graduated.

People tend to contribute less effort when they are in a group as the responsible to do a task is separated
