PhilNITS Foundation is implementing a Certification Program on the Fundamentals of IT (FE), adopted from the Japan Information Technology Engineers Center (JITEC) an office under the Information Technology Promotion Agency of Japan.

PhilNITS will give regular exams on Software Design and Development (SW) category on April 2008. SW exam was conducted last April 2007 both in Makati and Cebu.

What is JITSE? The exam measures competency of an individual

on the fundamentals of IT, based on standards adopted by JITEC and recognized by:

India, Singapore, Myanmar,

China, Malaysia, Vietnam,

Korea, Thailand,

Chinese Taipei, and the Philippines

Our Goals

Why the change in name?

The name has been changed to correct the misconception that the standards being implemented are only for the Japanese market.

It was found by the Bureau of Product Standards of the Dept. of Trade and Industry (DTI) that the JITSE standard is equivalent to the European and American standard on the Fundamentals of IT
