What is Your Goal??

• PSAT(CT STATE BENCHMARKS for Gr.11)• 530 on MATH = approx. 25 questions correct out

48 Total Calculator and No Calculator Sections

• 480 on VERBAL = approx. 45 questions correct out of 76 Total Reading, Writing & Language Sections

• Do NOT LEAVE ANYTHING BLANK!!!!!!!!!!

• You will not be penalized for a wrong answer or guess!!!

• Fill in an answer for EVERY QUESTION.

Practice Makes Perfect

• The more you practice the better your scores will be. You can link your PSAT scores to the new Khan Academy PSAT/SAT program after you get back your results and you will be given your own personalized study plan so you can get a higher score each time you test.

PSAT for Juniors is the NMSQT

• PSAT8/9 and PSAT10 will prepare you for the PSAT/NMSQT which can only be counted for the NMSQT in the junior year. NMSQT means

money for college!!!

What is your GOAL?

• 530 on MATH = approximately 30 questions correct out of 58 Total Math [Calculator and No Calculator]

• 500 on VERBAL = approximately 50 questions correct out of 80 Total Verbal [Reading, Writing and Language]

• For Study Tips Ask Your Teachers, Guidance Counselors, or Administrators for suggestions

• Sign up for SAT Prep class
