Tuesday 31st July 2018 CPS Welcome back to Term 3. I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday. I certainly did and I would like to thank Mrs Moran for filling in for me while I was on long service leave. During the holidays we were fortunate enough to have the help of Wade, Will and Cooper Casey to assist in the next stage of our playground renovation and I would like to say a big thank you to them and also thanks to all the students that gave up their play over the last few weeks of Term 2 to work on the playground. Congratulations to all the students that participated in the Small Schools Athletics carnival last Friday and a special mention to Charlotte (100m), Madi (100m) and Phoebe (100, 200 and 800m) who all made it through to the District Carnival this coming Friday. Our PP5 relay team (Reece, Phoebe, Madi and Robbie) also did a great job placing 2 nd . Over the last week it has been my pleasure to give out the first of our You Can Do It cards. Students receive recognition for displaying the social skills of Getting Along, Confidence, Organisation, Persistence, Resilience and Participation, as they work towards their Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. I am delighted to see so many students on track to receiving these awards. Today Mrs Farrell announced those students that will be participating in the STEAM program for Term 3. The students have to submit written applications to be part of this fantastic program and Mrs Farrell is delighted in the improved quality of applications this term. Congratulations to Eric, Emily, Ryan, Kodie, Will and Abi for gaining selection. We have many things happening this term so please remember to check Facebook and the website for information.
