Program Mission

The Tourism Partnership Fund’s mission is to advance the economic benefits of tourism throughout the state by providing financial assistance to qualified partners for tourism marketing initiatives that attract visitors to and encourage visitor spending in South Carolina.

To: Generate a return on the state’s investment;

Carryout the tourism marketing and economic development mission of SCPRT; and

Support our tourism industry partners.

Overview

1. Give a brief description of your PROJECT.

2. Outline project goals and indicate strategies to obtain goals.

3. Identify market segments (consumer, meetings/conventions, group tour, sports marketing, etc). Then identify and explain your target audience for each market segment (Demographic target: women, families, couples, seniors, etc., and Geographic target: Mid-West (which states), Southeast (which states) etc.

4. Are you implementing new market initiatives? If so, what are they? Or, are you sustaining existing markets? If so, explain how you will sustain them.

5. Outline your organization’s overall marketing campaign. Within your marketing campaign, identify those items seeking TPF grant support.
