WASTE WATER TREATMENT DEDISA PEAKING POWER PLANT PROXA protects the environment with specialist wastewater treatment and continuous discharge monitoring THE CHALLENGE The wastewater treatment section of the Dedisa Peaking Power Plant – owned by IPR-GDF Suez, Legend Power Solutions (LPS), Mitsui and the Peakers Trust – consists of a sewage treatment system, wastewater reticulation and oily water separation system. FATA commissioned PROXA to develop a solution that would treat all run-off and wash down water from the plant to remove excess oil prior to discharge into the environment. OUR SOLUTION PROXA designed, built and commissioned pre- manufactured skids to ensure reduced installation time on site and seamless integration with the client’s civil, electrical and other mechanical works. HOW PROXA ADDED VALUE PROXA ensured that the treatment of the water was chemical-free, which in turn significantly reduced operating costs. PROXA also employed locals, thereby contributing to the development of resident enterprises FEED WATER Oily plant washing water and run-off. PRODUCT WATER Water compliant to discharge standards.
