who’S who CASTKRiSTiN BATTERSBY (Lizzy)Kristin is a born and bred Beaconite who, after time in both NYC and LA, is overjoyed to be back on stage in the beautiful Hudson Valley. This is Kristin’s second performance after a five-year hiatus (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Candy Starr / New Deal Creative Arts Center), and her second show with County Players (August Osage County, Karen). Kristin has a B.A. in Theatre Arts from SUNY New Paltz, has studied with The Barrow Group in NYC, and regularly works to sharpen her skills in dance, movement, and intimacy choreography. When she’s not on stage or behind a camera, you can find her slinging drinks behind local bars, perfecting her chocolate chip cookie recipe, and hiking the Hudson Valley with her incredible husband, Mr. Darc— excuse me! With her husband, Michael Rinere! What a dream come true it is to play across from you, my dearest love. Jubilant thanks to Michael Frohnhoefer and the fabulous production team for bringing this show to life in a post-COVID world, and much love always to Mom, Dad, Colin, and Joanna.

CoNNiE E. BodEN (Maid, Assistant Stage Manager, Costume Design)Combining on- and off-stage work, P&P is Connie’s ninth production with County Players. Previous costume credits include Almost, Maine and Exit Laughing. Thanks to Michael for providing me the opportunity to explore the world of Regency fashion, and to Jo, Karen and Rosemary for their tireless creating. “It is a truth universally acknowledged” that Connie holds an MA in English Lit from Hofstra University due to the influence of the great Jane Austen.

MiChAEL A. BodEN (Stage Manager)Mike is honored to be a part of this great production team! He has been a part of multiple County Player productions, both on stage and as crew. Notable productions include The Drowsy Chaperone (Feldzeig), Exit Laughing (Stage Manager), Cat On a Hot Tin Roof (Doc Baugh), and A Tuna Christmas (Assistant Stage Manager). Mike teaches history at Dutchess Community College, and served 23 years as an armored cavalryman in the US Army. Thanks to Michael for this opportunity and the entire cast and crew for their fantastic work on this show. Love always to Connie. Go Army, Beat Navy!

Page 13: Proud to Support the County Players

RALPh BowMAN (Set Construction Head)Ralph began at County Players by working on the set for Born Yesterday. He has helped build every set since then. He has been construction head for Last Five Years and Moonlight and Magnolias. He was ASM for A Tuna Christmas. He has been on the light board for several shows. He thanks Michael for this great opportunity. He also thanks his Muse who got him started in this wonderful community.

EThAN BRoNdUM (Mr. Collins, Wickham, Miss Bingley)Ethan is ecstatic to be back! He is currently attending the Fashion Institute of Technology for Advertising and Marketing Communications. His regional credits include: It’s a Wonderful Life (George Bailey), School of Rock (Ned Scheenbly), The Drowsy Chaperone (The Underling), Laughter on the 23rd Floor (Lucas Brickman), Les Miserables (Combeferre), Shrek the Musical (Big Bad Wolf ), Spring Awakening (Adult Man), Charlie Brown Christmas (Pig Pen), Grease (ensemble) The Secret Garden (ensemble), Brigadoon (ensemble). Some of his school credits include: Rumors (Glenn Cooper), The Wiz (High Underling/Uncle Henry) The Boys Next Door (Barry Klemper), Legally Blonde (Harvard Administrator). He has been seen on TV, in shows such as Orange is the New Black, Saved by the Bell, The Goldbergs, Lucifer, Seal Team. He has appeared in films such as I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Blackjack: The Jackie Ryan Story, and Maple: The Movie. He would like to thank his family and dearest friends for putting up with his shenanigans!

CRAiG PATRiCK BRowNE (Mrs. Bennet, Servant)Craig is overjoyed to be able to stand on a stage again after the events of last year. This is his fourth appearance with County Players, having been in the ensemble for Aida and Guys and Dolls, and having played the role of Major Domo in Amadeus. Some of his favorite roles on other stages include Chess (Molokov), Romeo and Juliet (Capulet), The Fantasticks (Henry), Little Shop of Horrors (Mushnik), An Inspector Calls (Birling) and A Funny Thing… (Hysterium). Craig can be heard every Christmas Eve on WRNQ (Q92 FM) voicing a dozen roles in It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. He would like to thank his wife, Sarah, and his friends and family for tolerating his refrain, “I’ve got rehearsal.”

doNNA CoNwAY (Charlotte Lucas, Mr. Bennet)Donna is very excited to be part of County Players’ first post-Covid production. The show will have everyone laughing and happy, a perfect start to forget

Page 14: Proud to Support the County Players

the past year. This is a fantastic cast and production team, and it has been an honor being a part of this group. This is Donna’s second production with County Player as she enjoyed providing laughs in Exit Laughing (Millie). Thank you, Michael, for providing me the opportunity to be in another of your wonderful, directed CP productions. Donna has enjoyed the stage during both high school and college and is sure her mid-west roots and blended family stories, make laughter easy to share. Her parents took her for the many stage productions, both professional and community while growing and she is eternal grateful for the experience today. Donna wants to thank her local family for their continued support and her family who traveled here for this show. When Donna is not on stage, you will find her at her sewing machine, where she makes both costumes for productions and clothes and quilts for her grandkids – MA & MC!

KAREN USTiCK EREMiN (Costume Crew) What an absolute delight to be back upstairs with a mouthful of pins and an unsolicited opinion about everything! Doff o’ the cap to Connie for so gracefully commandeering our crew of eager Sisters of the Cloth, and for masterfully crossing every T. Thanks to Michael and this clever cast for their humor and patience. Above all, infinite love and respect to my Rosemary – the big sister I never had; and to Josephine, garment engineer extraordinaire.

RoSEMARY EVAUL (Costume Crew)is a retired English teacher from RCK, and has spent more than 50 years involved with educational theatre. It’s quite pleasant to “graduate” to the adults and help out at County Players-an organization she has admired among all those years. She thanks the Michaels [Boden and Frohnhoefer] for including her in this period production, and especially appreciates her very talented Sewing Sisters—Connie, Karen and Josephine; what talents abound with these ladies! Enjoy the show.

MiChAEL J. FRohNFoEFER (Director) Michael is thrilled to be directing such a quirky, fun show. Thank you to an incredible cast and a stellar production team. Past directing credits include Moonlight and Magnolias, Exit Laughing, You Can’t Take It With You, Laughter on The 23rd Floor and Chapter Two. Thank you to all of you - our theater friends and family - for being able to join us once again as we light the stage with laughter. Heart and Soul.

Peggy last appeared on the stage in CP’s 2020 Production of Almost Maine in the roles of Gayle/Marci while heading Props. Peggy has headed Props and worked backstage for several recent CP Productions, but her proudest (theatre) moment was appearing alongside her brother David in CP’s 2018 production of You Can’t Take It With You (Grand Duchess Olga Katrina/Properties). As always, she is grateful for her family, the CP friendships she’s made and to her “Props Peeps”. Peggy is thankful for our returning patrons and offers prayers for those who are here in spirit.

SCoTT wooLLEY (Mr. Bingley, Mary)Scott is happy to be back with County Players family, having appeared last year in the heart-felt Almost Maine. He confesses to never having read or seen a Jane Austin story, but the director promised this show would exceed his expectations.... despite the lack of zombies and vampires. Maybe Michael thinks the undead are not funny enough. Anyway, Scott has enjoyed the humor and creative collaboration with everyone who worked on this production. He gives special thanks to his wife Erica for her understanding through the weeks of rehearsals. Keep smiling!

BETh ZAMBiTo (Assistant Stage Manager – Operations)Beth could not be happier to return to live theater after over a year without it! She is thrilled to be a part of County Players’ return to the stage, with old friends and new, and thanks Michael and Mike for the opportunity to work with such a talented group of theater peeps. Beth was last involved with the CP productions of Moonlight & Magnolias (2019), Miracle on South Division Street (2018) and Guys & Dolls (2018).
