Students have been working super hard on creang both oral and wrien descripons based on the characters from the well-loved Australian story Wombat Stew. All classes are building their vocabulary and knowledge of sentence structures and are applying their ideas and knowledge into wrien form. The funny wombat is eating carrots and lettuce. The big dingo is sleeping on a rock. The wombat is sleeping in a hole. The dingo is sleeping on the rock in the sun in the morning. The chunky wombat is eating.
