SECURITY SYSTEMS USING MOBILE UNIT Functionality: - This is security device that detects change in IR radiations. A PIR sensor is installed for this purpose. A microcontroller is placed that receives the signal from PIR sensor and functions as per the program embedded in it. A mobile unit is placed at one of the output ports of MC, which gets appropriate signals for making a call. It makes a call multiple number of times to make sure that the call is made even in the presence of some network problems. After the PIR detects the intruder, it activates the mobile via MC to make a call to number already fed in it. This even triggers a buzzer that makes continuous noise until the PIR gets reset. SECURITY SYSTEMS USING MOBILE UNIT

Functionality: -

This is security device that detects change in IR radiations. A PIR sensor is installed for this purpose. When an intruder enters in its area

of influence it detects the IR radiations from his body and can trigger the actual circuit.

Future developments: -

These PIRs are places at different corners of a room/hall and can be connected in a network. Depending upon the volume of the room/hall we can use any no.of sensors.

We can develop a distributed security system by placing a central system to monitor all the sensors placed in different rooms/halls.

Feedback mechanism for the call through mobile can be developed. The mobile unit is removed and the entire setup can be integrated in a single

chip, which makes the more effective. The system can be programmed to perform various actions after detection

like locking of doors, to control alert lights etc.
