STONESCREEN is a complete high performance external wall system specially designed to be faced with natural stone or other cladding materials and can incorporate standard or bespoke windows, doors, shades, louvres etc. The system is a double skin wall construction comprising of a weather and air tight backing wall which is faced with a rainscreen cladding. It is fully drained, thermally broken, back ventilated and has excellent thermal and acoustic properties. Features of Stonescreen;

• Curtain wall system specifically designed as a backing wall for Stone

Cladding and other heavy archhitectural features.

• System consists of aluminium extruded frame infilled with metal faced

insulated wall panels. The stonescreen stone fixing system is attached to

the Aluminium frame, with a 50mm ventilation and drainage cavity

between the raer face of Stone and backing wall.

• Offsite manufacture, preparation and assembly is maximised to ensure

consistancy in quality.

• Avoids any cutting or drilling of stone on site and reliance generally on site

workmanship.

• Fully tested to CWCT standards.

• Wall system is air and water tight with airpermeabiility values negligible.

• Combines modern facade engineering technology and traditional natural stone

experience.

• High environmental performance, thermal and acoustic.

• Stone joints Can be open jointed or pointed.

• Slim lightweight wall system with efficient use of the wall zone to optimise

performance.

• Designed to accomodate building movements including seismic without

imposing stresses on the stone.

• Can be installed as a untised system or site assembled stick system.

• Stonecreen is fully compliant with BS 8298 ; 20129 part 4

• Miximises off site manufacture and preparation as far as possible.

• All stone panels are individually supported and restrained enabling stone

thickness to be reduced. This provides benefits in cost and handling.

• Stone installation at least 4 times faster than traditional methods.

Stonescreen Engineered Stone

• Stonescreen Engineered Limestone is manufactured from 95% crushed marble

and 5% synthetic resins.

• Engineered stone has the appearance of natural stone without the natural flaws

and defects of natural stone.

• Higher strength than Natural Limestone andtherefore be used at reduced

thickness.

• Very Low porosity, highly durable.

• Can be produced in any colour, grain and veining to match any natural Stone.

• Used as a cladding material across Europe for over 40 years.
