Content and Teaching Procedures:
(First Meeting)
Steps Procedure Materials/Notes
Introduction(5 minutes)
1. Teachers reflects what they have learned in last lesson
2. Teacher show video of population includes all the living organisms in a particular habitat and relates with today’s lesson.
- Video (To attract students attentions)
Development(30 minutes)
1.Teacher shows a picture about balanced ecosystem consist of various habitat, community, population and species to overview the lessons
2.Teacher explains and brief about the species, community, population and habitat.
3.Teacher divides the students into four groups of people.
Each of members will have their own number to represent theirself.
4. Teacher gives some homework to students to make sure they will studies about the topic as a preparation to play the games in next meeting.
-Shows the pictures in power point using LCD
-Teacher give handouts to students( For students understand about the terms in the lesson)

Closure 1.Teacher summarizes the lesson.

2. Teacher highlight an example about interaction between orgnisms
3.Teacher check the students homework with discussing the answer with students
4. Teacher gives an explaination about the snakes and the ladder games and the procedures of the games to students to makesure students understand what they gonna do and why they do that.
5. Students play the games, teacher guide and observe
-Shows the pictures in power point using LCD
-Teacher give handouts to students( For students understand about the terms in the lesson)
- Teacher gives the material of the games such as manila card (with pictures of snakes and ladder), dice and five small different colour of chips, different colour of envelopes contains a question..

2. Students continue play the games, teacher guide and observe the students involvement and reactions when playing the game.
3. Teacher ask student to wrote what they feel and understand about the topic after play that game in a piece of paper.

- Teacher gives the material of the games such as manila card (with pictures of snakes and ladder), dice and five small different colour of chips, different colour of envelopes contains a question ( different question from last game).

BAB 4 – PENGUMPULAN DATA DAN ANALISIS DATA
4.1. Pengumpulan data
Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah
a) Video tape – guru merakam setiap aktiviti pelajar semasa permainan dam ular
dijalankan
b) Temubual - guru menemubual pelajar secara ”one to one” atau berkumpulan.
c) Nota lapangan – guru mencatatkan penglibatan pelajar semasa aktiviti
dengan menandakan

AV= Asked Volunteer
dan guru membandingkan data pada kitaran pertama dengan data
pada kitaran kedua.(lampiran 5)
4.2 Analisis data
Analisis data dibuat dengan pemerhatian dan analisis terhadap video yang dirakam dan
pemerhatian terhadap perubahan dan perbandingan yang wujud pada nota lapangan
kedua-dua kitaran.
BAB 5-DAPATAN KAJIAN
Kitaran pertama :
Daripada aktiviti yang dijalankan dianggarkan jumlah penglibatan pelajar akan
meningkat berdasarkan pemerhatian dan nota lapangan yang dicatatkan oleh
guru.Guru akan mencatatkan penglibatan pelajar samada pelajar itu sukarela
(volunteer) untuk menjawab soalan atau hanya menjawab apabila diminta oleh
guru(asked volunteer).
Kitaran kedua:
Dalam kitaran kedua ini,pelajar masih menjalankan aktiviti yang sama tetapi berlaku
penambahbaikan daripada kitaran pertama samada dari segi soalan yang dijawab atau
penalti dan insentif yang diterima apabila berjaya atau gagal menjawab
soalan.Kemudian guru akan mencatatkan kembali penglibatan pelajar di dalam nota
lapangan dan membandingkan jumlah volunteer (v) dan asked volunteer (AV) dalam
kitaran pertama dan kedua.Dianggarkan penglibatan pelajar dalam kitaran kedua akan
meningkat berbanding kitaran pertama.
BAB 6-PERBINCANGAN
Daripada kajian tindakan yang dilakukan didapati penglibatan pelajar dalam
kelas akan meningkat kerana terdapat tarikan untuk pelajar belajar .Dengan pemberian
insentif dan juga penalti atau dendaan jika pelajar tidak dapat menjawab soalan akan
meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik pelajar supaya dapat menjawab dengan
betul.Dengan cara itu pelajar akan berusaha untuk membaca dan memahami konsep
yang diterangkan.
Kajian ini juga dapat membuktikan pengajaran melalui permainan akan
meningkatkan kefahaman pelajar kerana pelajar mengalami sendiri pengalaman
bermain dan belajar dan melakukan eksplorasi secara semulajadi.Dengan cara
itu ,pengalaman yang mereka peroleh akan menjadi lebih bermakna dan mudah
diingati.
Jika tidak berlaku sebarang peningkatan penglibatan pelajar maka beberapa
perkara perlu diambil kira untuk tujuan penambahbaikan contohnya adalah dengan
mempelbagaikan soalan dan juga dengan mereka insentif dan penalty yang lebih
mencabar.
