A solid is hard because it’s particles do not move very much.

The particles in a liquid are more loose than in a solid. This lets them slide past each other.

The particles in a gas are not connected to each other and are not close. They move in straight lines until something stops it, then it bounces off in another direction.

shape of the container it is poured into. Each individual grain of salt has a shape

and a volume.

What happens when you put water in the freezer??

Taking away heat will cause the water to freeze.

Which had more mass? A bowling ball or a basketball?

The basketball is bigger but the bowling ball had more mass because it is heavier.
