DEFINITION

A word that substitutes for a noun .

A personal pronoun refers to a person or thing . A personal pronoun refers to :

• Nominative (subjective) • Objective• Possessive

A first-person pronoun is the one speaking .

Second-person pronoun is the one speaking to .

Third-person pronoun is the one speaking about .
