DEFINITION
A word that substitutes for a noun .
A personal pronoun refers to a person or thing . A personal pronoun refers to :

The case depends on the pronoun’s function in the sentences .
A first-person pronoun is the one speaking .
Second-person pronoun is the one speaking to .
