Graduate Center Plus (GC Plus) supports the faculties and institutions of the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) in optimally promoting early career researchers.
As an interdisciplinary service institution, we bundle information on all aspects of doctoral and postdoctoral research and show the wide range of support and qualification opportunities at the UDE.
We also offer individual counselling and a varied workshop programme as well as information and career events.

Good scientific practice
Knowing and applying the principles for safeguarding good scientific practice (GSP) is a basic prerequisite for honest and accurate research. We regularly integrate GSP workshops into our programme. In addition, we offer customized workshops for structured doctoral programmes on request.
Interdisciplinary Qualification
In addition to your professional expertise, interdisciplinary competencies are an important part of your academic and professional development. Our workshops support you in preparing for your further career within the university and beyond.
