- The summary of the project written by all of the participants
has been made based on the conclusions and surveys carried
out.
- The participantsof the project were from four different schools
from Jrva county:Roosna-Alliku Secondary School, Albu Secondary
School, Tri GymansiumandJrva-Jaani Gymansium.
- 559 studentstook part in the survey (were questioned).
- According to the survey the following data was gathered:
- most of the students have amobile phone : 486 students of all
questioned, that is 85,7 %;
- 148 students haveread their e-mails using a mobile phone : 28,2
%;
- 216 studentsuse their mobile phone for accessing the Internet :
61,6 %;
- 485 studentshave a PC at home : 80,8 %;
- a possibility ofInternet connectionhave 436 students: 78,5
%;
- 451 studentsuse a PC for learning : 86,7 %;
- studentsuse a PC for learning the following subjects :
Estonian, ICT, music, biology, geography, English, chemistry,
history, physics, mathematics, handicraft, science and Russian. A
PC is mostly used for typing texts and making presentations, also
within lessons (for gathering information and processing
information).
- Technology is a powerful means of communication these days and
serves mostly for spending free time and communicating to
others.
- Students are able and willing to use e-learning, but at the
moment adapting e-learning to the learning process is not possible
due to the lack of means needed for that .
- The ministry of education cannot adapt e-learningin schools at
the moment because schools do not have the necessary technology.
But we approve of the politicians view that every student should be
given a PC for free. That would greatly help in adapting e-learning
to the learning process.

- Teacher and school infromation
- The project was run by Tri Gymnasium and 3 other schools
participated (Roosna-Alliku Secondary School, Jrva-Jaani Gymnasium,
Albu Secondary School).
- Tri Gymnasiumis a school with around 800 students.
- Work takes place in two buildings:elementary school building
(1924),and the gymnasium building (1970).
- There are 30 sets of classes.
- The school employs over 50 teachers, each with a pedagogical
professional education.
- For teaching children with special needs there is a speech
therapist,
- student councelling by a psychologist, and, if necessary,
remedial teaching.
