Farmer concerned with more difficulty problem about post-harvest technology, especially maize post-harvest technology in the North Province
Up to now not yet improve the quality as good as possible or could not save for long time,
Low price due to the quality is not good as the market needed.
As those yields, maize is one product that Lao peoples called as food nutrition and consume daily, to be animal food and become as a commercial products for long time.
• Nowadays, commercially maize are not only in local, but in the country and in abroad and become an important products.
The cause that made the lover price such as: the grains high moisture content, not lightly color, especially during raining time.
During maize harvesting are still not dried as well and they don’t dry more.
• The maize were effected by rain when it’s still in the trees, not sufficient maize dryer,
• Farmers to take care of the grain fore long period, so that make the grains quality and color loose.
• To solve off the problems, is necessary to dry the maize grains until the safety moisture content before take care of the grain for long period.
• The grains is going to quality safety and market demand which will ensure to the demands and consumers.
B: objectives.
• To build the Maize Solar Dryer and • To study the efficiency of the Maize Solar
Dryer.
2. Methodology and Instruments;
The methodology will divided to many steps such as: Project writing, information study, design and build the solar dyer. Subsequently, dry maize research conduct. The research conduct will belong to National University of Laos(NUOL) Faculty of Agriculture (Nabong Campus). On this researching we have three team worker that consist:
1. Assoc Mr somphanh PASOUVANG head of team (lecturer)
2. Mr Vilayphone KEOSILAPHETH deputy head of team (lecturer) and
