EWB Mission Statement
• “EWB-USA is a nonprofit humanitarian organization established to support community-driven development programs worldwide through partnerships that design and implement sustainable engineering projects, while creating transformative experiences that enrich global perspectives and create responsible leaders.”
Timeline
• September 2012 – Kenya team formed• August 2013 – Pre-assessment trip, decided
on Muchebe Primary School for project• January 2014 – Assessment trip, gather data
for design, survey community members• August 2014 – Implementation trip• August 2015 – Assessment trip • August 2016 – Implementation trip
Muchebe Quick Facts

• 339 students this year, pre-school through Class 8• Classes in math, Swahili, English, geography,

• System already in place when we arrived at Muchebe• 20,000 L storage capacity collecting only from 25% of roof
