Ms. Larrieu, a science teacher, asked me to help her students create PowerPoint presentations about

“energy”as we did every year. I showed her the VoiceThread I created for the library and she fell in love with it right away. We then discussed what should be included in the Voice Thread, how to evaluate the Voice Thread and how longit would take to finish the project.

Research on the assigned energy. Prepare picture, graph, diagram, table or

other graphics for each slide. Prepare script for each slide. Get the script approved by the science

teacher for accuracy. Record voice. Presentation.

Creative Commons knowledge. Easy to use. Create in PowerPoint and upload the

whole file, and then record voice directly.

Encourage creative imagination. The accuracy of information. Learn how to project voice. It is fun.

Page 14: Project ELITE "Energy" Collaboration PowerPoint

More time to plan More slides (about 10) to better explain

the topic. Better environment for recording. More opportunities for these shy

students to practice.
