People.Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority(MCZMA) in 84th meeting of the Coastal ZoneManagement Authority held on 30th & 31stAugust2013.The Authority has recommended the proposal fromCRZ point of view to MOEF subjected to conditions of10 times replantation of mangroves falling in survey no 62in surai village which is shown as tickle land in 7/12extract.As Mangroves are seen on Govt. 1.0 GENERAL

1.1 With the growth of urban centre and the economic activities around

the focal points, the demand for inter-urban transportation has been

increasing steadily in India. To cope with this ever increasing demand

Mumbai Metropolitan Region have undertaken 6 lanning bridge

project in various phases for safe, economic and fast travel. Proposed

6 lanning Bridge is part of stages as explained above .

1.2 Six lane bridge across Ulhas creek having length 980 meter on

proposed Mankoli – Motagaon Road which forms existing Kalyan

Dombivali city.In short this will form acceses to south west side of

thane district Kalyan city.

The bridge proposal is cleared in the 134th Authority meeting of

MMRDA held on 27th June 2014 headed by Hon’ble Chief Minister

Maharashtra.

Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) in 84th

meeting of the Coastal Zone Management Authority held on 30th &

31stAugust 2013.The Authority has recommended the proposal from

CRZ point of view to MOEF subjected to conditions of 10 times

replantation of mangroves falling in survey no 62 in surai village

which is shown as tickle land in 7/12 extract. The legal status of the

land on which mangroves on said area and very few Mangroves are

disturbed is tickle land as per 7/12 extract having survey no 62. As

Mangroves are seen on Govt. Land necessary permission from forest

deptt is being taken.

2.0 DESIGN STANDARDS

2.1 The IRC standards for major design elements of the proposed road,

generally are being adopted as recommended by Consultants and

were accepted by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development

The bridge alignment having length 980 meter is on approved DP is under

consideration under this proposal.

2.3 ROW/Land width

The proposed ROW/land width required is of 45 mtr.width and bridge

width is 28 mtr.

2.5 4 Lane Configuration

Based on the traffic survey, analysis consultant has recommened 6 lane

bridge.
