 My Mom

Hi, my name is William. I am eleven years old. I am the second

oldest of 5 children. I was born on October 20, 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts. If I had to choose the most important person in my life it would be my mother. I would choose my mother for many different reasons.

Two of the most important reasons are that she provides food and shelter for me. She is the one that buys my food, without her I would be hungry. I would have no breakfast, lunch or dinner. She is also the person that pays our rent so we can have an apartment to live and sleep in. Another reason my mom is so important is because she buys me clothes. She always makes sure I have nice clothes to wear. She also washes my clothes so that I don't come to school dirty.

The most important thing my mother does for me is care about me. She always listens to what I have to say. When I am scared she tries to help me. I would like to do something nice for my mother. When I grow up I would like to buy her a big house. I would also like to support her for the rest of her life so she doesn't have to work anymore.

I am thankful to have a mother who loves and cares for me. I hope I always make her proud.
