Josh is in year 5. His termly Reading (En2) progress is visible to his teacher from the first time anyone assessed Josh. The dotted lines join the KS1 TA with the Fischer B and D estimates for KS2 Reading. This gives the teacher a “Track line” for comparison
Soft Curriculum - Josh’s progress can also be plotted against school-defined criteria. The staff together agrees what would be useful to assess (e.g. wellbeing, disposition, attitude, attendance) and their interpretation criteria for the values in the range 1 to 5. Has Josh’s level of engagement affected his progress?
The annual review printout offers a useful history of pupils’ attainment and progress and comparison against Fischer estimates for the selected term in any chosen subject.

Pupil, group and cohort level analyses of both attainment and progress broken down by gender, DOB, term of entry, ethnicity, SEN, etc. enable managers to evaluate, review and plan ahead.

Progress Tracker uses SIMS.NET marksheets so that you can pick up classes, teaching groups or year groups for each subject. While other tracking packages can only take data from SIMS, Progress tracker can also feed it back. Progress Tracker ensures that all pupil assessment data is stored securely in SIMS.NET and stays with the pupil.
