AHA eCard ProcessWhen you successfully complete an American Heart Association (AHA) course, you will be issued an eCard. The eCard process provides a secure, and effi cient way to provide students with online proof of completion. Your eCard can be sent to your work or personal email address. If you prefer receipt through your personal email, simply add your personal email address into Lawson Self-Service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is an eCard? An eCard is the electronic equivalent of a printed AHA course completion card, and is valid proof of successful course comple-tion, and can be presented to employers as proof of successful completion of an AHA course.

Q. Can I receive the regular paper version?A student can print out their eCard. For employee’s records, employees should supply full size copies to manager/educator.

Q. How will the new process impact the student? The eCard process involves a few more steps for students to claim their AHA online certifi cation card(s):

1. Students attend a class to take initial or renewal cours-es; verifying their email address during class.

2. After successfully passing the written and skills portions of the class, students will receive an e-mail notifi cation (5 to 7 business days after a class) with a link to claim their eCard online.

3. From there, students will need to review their student profi le page to update and confi rm their contact infor-mation, set up a security question, agree to American Heart Association’s standard Terms of Use, and com-plete a brief survey.

4. Once completed, students will then be able to view their eCard.

Please Note:

Corporate University will continue to record AHA certifi cation completion in NetLearning, but your physical card will now only be available through the AHA website.

If you have any questions, please contact Rosita Karigan at [email protected].
