STATUS OF TECHNICAL OFFICER AND ISSUING OF BULLETIN
The post of Technical Officer is lying vacant till now.
Senior Research Fellows are working as a Technical
Officer.
Nature of Bulletin: The AAS bulletin is issued for the two
districts for Kakdwip viz. South 24-Parganas and Purba
Medinipur; While six districts for Kalyani viz. Nadia,
Hoogly, Howrah, Burdwan, Murshidabad and North 24
Pargana.
• Frequency of Preparation: Bi-weekly (Tuesday and Friday) in both language viz. English and Bengali
• Nature of Bulletin: Based on the realized weather and weather forecast including the information on rainfall, temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, crop growth stages, weather-sensitivity of crops and disease & pest.
• Total number of bulletin issued: Kalyani- 82, Kakdwip- 82
