Programs' purpose and description ln this agreement unless the context implies otherwise: "study abroad" shall mean the study abroad programs established herein; and "study abroad students" shall mean the students participating in the study abroad programs. The purpose of offering summer programs at FF UK is to promote and expand international understanding, development and friendship among the signatories by stimulating and supporting academic, professional and intercultural activities and projects directed at students, staff and faculty members of both institutions: FF UK and Tecnológico de Monterrey. lt should be noted that the program of study undertaken by a study abroad student will attract a tuition fee. The summer study abroad program is not required to operate on a reciprocal basis. At FF UK students from Tecnológico de Monterrey will be able to enroll two courses equivalent to 10 ECTS. The courses are : • La Historia y Cultura Checas en el Contexto Centroeuropeo {S ECTS) • La Ciudadanía en Ia Nueva Europa (S ECTS) The courses would be taught mainly in Spanish and some in English. 2. Duration of the programs For the year of 2018, the summer programs will date from 11 th of June, {first day of classes) to the 7th of July (last day of classes). The orientation session will be the 10th of June at 19 o' clock at Hybernská 3, Praha 1. Students will be allowed to check-in at the assigned residence on the 10th of June and to check-out on the 7th of July. 3. Number of students Tecnológico de Monterrey will be allowed to send a maximum of 24 students and a minimum of 18. SPECIFICATIONS REGARDING THE PROVISION OF SUMMER PROGRAMS 2018 FOR STUDENTS FROM
TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY
1. Programs' purpose and description
ln this agreement unless the context implies otherwise: "study abroad" shall mean the study
abroad programs established herein; and "study abroad students" shall mean the students
participating in the study abroad programs.

faculty members of both institutions: FF UK and Tecnológico de Monterrey. lt should be noted
that the program of study undertaken by a study abroad student will attract a tuition fee. The

At FF UK students from Tecnológico de Monterrey will be able to enroll two courses equivalent to

For the year of 2018, the summer programs will date from 11th of June, {first day of classes) to the

3. Number of students

4. Selection of participants
Tecnológico de Monterrey w ill screen its applicants for the study abroad programs, in accordance with the home institution's program regu lations and the host institution's admission standards. The home institution will send applications to the host institution by the date specified by the host institution. The host institution reserves the right to make final judgment on the admission of students nominated for the study abroad program.
The following guidelines apply to a ll study abroad students:
a) Participants in the programs must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at Tecnológico de Monterrey, related mainly to the following areas: lnternational Relations, Commerce, and Communications. Nevertheless, it is not restricted to other areas.
b) Participants in the program must have completed at least one year and a half of studies at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
c) Good Ieve! of English is required. Tecnológico de Monterrey will make sure to screen the Students with an English Ieve! equivalent to 82.
S. Contracted services
FF UK will invoice Tecnológico de Monterrey for the cost of the program. The fee per student for the program will be of $2,400 USD. This fee includes: a) Tuition fees b) Housing in students dormitories Kolej Hostivařwith breakfast; having check-in at 12 PM (noon)
and check-out before 10 AM; shared rooms for two students each. c) Public transportation pass starting on June 12th d) Two academic excursions outside Prague e) A visit to a glass factory f) Visit a concert g) Entries to some museums h) Didactic texts
Therefore, a ll study abroad students wi ll be responsible for: a) Travel expenses b) Meals like lunch and dinner c) Hea lth insurance. ln this case, Tecnológico de Monterrey would add the cost of the health
insurance to the cost ofthe program. d) Clothing and persona! expenses e) Passport and visa costs f) Non-compulsory incidental fees and g) All other debts incurred during the course of the summer term
6. Finances (dates, amounts)
Tecnológico de Monterrey must pay FF UK all students' fees by 10 of June. Be aware that payments at Tecnológico de Monterrey take from 4 to 6 weeks once the invoice has. been received.

the following refund policies will apply:
a. 20 days before 101h of June 2018, 80%
b. 10 days before 10th of June 2018, 50%
c. 1 day before 10th of June 2018, 0%
7. Responsibilities of Tecnológico de Monterrey
ln respect to the study abroad programs, Tecnológico de Monterrey will advise students of the
opportunities available at FF UK and its partner schools through the study abroad programs,
including the provision of information regarding FF UK and its facilities; and pass on information
regarding fees, refunding fees, health insurance, visa requirements and the cost of living as
provided by FF UK.
8. Responsibilities of FF UK
FF UK will forward to Tecnológico de Monterrey information on fees, refunding of fees, health
insurance, visa requirements and the cost of living to ensure that the summer study abroad
students receive this information before being accepted into the program.
FF UK will assist Tecnológico de Monterrey students in arranging accommodation and will provide
appropriate assistance in matters of health, language and local custom that may arise.

FF UK will issue an admission/invitation letter to each participating student. This letter may serve as a reference in the student' s immigration process when entering Czech Republic.
After the end of the summer program, FF UK will send to Tecnológico de Monterrey an official transcript of credits for each of its students.
9. Responsibilities of study abroad students Participant students will be responsible for: a) Applying for and obtaining the appropriate visa or necessary documents. b} Must have a health insurance valid in the host country fo r the duration of the summer term.
Tecnológico de Monterrey would add the cost of the health insurance to the cost of the program. For all cases the health insurance must include medical attention and repatriation of remains; and
c) Complying with the same academic and disciplinary regulations as the host institution students, in addition to adhering to the home institution's standards of conduct.
10. Grading system
Grades at FF UK are expressed in words on a four-grade scale form Excellent to Fail. The minimum passing grade for all courses at FF UK is Good. Grades at Tecnológico de Monterrey are manifested as whole numbers, on a scale from 1 (one) to 100 (o ne hundred). The minimum passing grade for a ll courses at Tecnológico de Monterrey is 70 (seventy).
11. Publicity
Both Parties are aware of and agree with the pub!ication of this Exhibit by FF UK in accordance with Act no. 340/2015 Sb., concerning special conditions regarding the effect of some Contracts, their publication, and the Contracts Register (Contracts Register Act), as amended (hereinafter the "Act on the Register of Contracts"}, immediately after signing the Exhibit.
The Parties state that the Exhibit does not contain commercially confidential information or information whose publication would lead to unauthorized access to the rights and obligations of the Parties, their representatives or their employees, and the Parties agree with the publication of this Exhibit in its entirety. Nonetheless, prior to the Exhibiťs publication FF UK is, if necessary, entitled to delete information which according to the Act on the Register of Contracts, should not or need not be published. ln the ca se that the publication of the Exhibit would nevertheless lead to unauthorized access to the rights and obligations of the Parties, their representatives or their employees, each party is responsible sole ly for the harm caused to itself, its own representatives, or employees.
The Parties are also aware of and agree that with the publication of this Exhibit, FF UK will simultaneously publish the Service Provision Agreement to which this Exhibit relates, as well as any earlier Exhibits thereto. The provisions of the preceding paragraphs shall apply to this Agreement correspondingly.

ONCE THIS EXHIBIT A WAS READ BY THE PARTIES, THEY RATIFV AND SUBSCRIBE IT IN PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, AND MONTERREY, MEXICO, ON ABRIL 2018, THERE BEING THREE COUNTERPARTS OF THIS INSTRUMENT.
