It is a real pleasure for us to invite you to the congress that
celebrates Periodontology, which will take place in Valencia
from May 29 to June 1, 2019 in which we will celebrate the
60th anniversary of SEPA. It has been six decades which
have made SEPA a reference for international Periodon-
tology and Spanish dentistry. A journey complete with 53
annual meetings and several board meetings, which since
the fi rst one, presided by Manuel Fonseca, have allowed us
to pace the scientifi c and clinical evolution of those den-
tists most interested in improving their knowledge. Now,
from the SEPA Foundation, we have an ideal platform to
develop our activities and initiatives in the frame of the
general interest.
The SEPA Congress in its 60th Anniversary will be a special
meeting.
Its program has been drawn up on the basis of scientifi c
evidence and clinical application to allow an exchange of
knowledge and experiences among colleagues that will
enrich the day to day clinical practice and so that, above
all, the benefi t goes to our patients.
For this reason, we have put all our eff ort into designing an inter-
national fi rst-rate scientifi c program in which any health profes-
sional can fi nd a session in his/her particular interest, in line with
SEPA’s key working fundamental, Periodontology for everyone.
The Sepa’19 scientifi c program will open on Wednesday May
29, 2019 with a masterclass on the 30 years of research in Pe-
riodontology led by Professor Mariano Sanz, who will receive
the distinction of the SEPA Foundation Platinum Award, and on
Thursday we will have a live surgery from Florence in which Fran-
cesco Cairo will perform a mucogingival surgery to cover gingi-
val recessions. And from there, in addition to a wide commercial
exhibition in Expoperio, there will be a great and diverse range
of sessions, always under the unmistakable values of SEPA: rigor,
innovation and excellence.
We are convinced that this program will be of your interest and
we encourage you to be part of the congress of the celebration
of Periodontology.
We will see you in Valenciafrom May 29 to June 1, 2019
