In 2016 WorldHostingDays will celebrate 12
years of amazing events. It’s hard to believe
that a dozen years have passed since we
started. WHD is the world’s largest and most
succesful series of events for the hosting
and cloud industry, but it is not enough to be
simply the largest and most successful.
Our purpose is to deliver value to all of our
partners and attendees at every event. Some
of our partners from that very first WHD back
in 2004 are still our partners today, and many
of our loyal attendees continue to come back
year-after-year. The continuing trust that they
place in us is the best possible evidence that
we are accomplishing our mission together.
To all of you, please accept our thanks.
For the coming year we have even more
events and innovations planned. WHD is the
perfect place to put your hand upon pulse
of the industry, gaining deep market insights
and making the kinds of connections that can
make a real difference in your business.
Welcome to WHD.global 2016Whether it is at the WHD.global event; one
of our regional shows in Singapore, USA,
China, India, or Japan; or by attending one
of our local events in some of the greatest
technology centers of Europe, there is no
substitute for being there.
We are very excited by what the future will
bring to us, and we invite you to join us once
again. Become a partner now and together
we will make 2016 the best, most successful
year yet for WorldHostingDays and all of our
partners.

Emerging Markets
This series of panel discussions examines some of key emerging international markets in the hosting and cloud space. C-level executives from
leading service providers in each local market will discuss issues such as competitive landscape and regional market dynamics, local buyer
preferences, localization and legal matters, international service provider presence and other matters. The session will provide valuable insight for
service providers looking to expand or acquire internationally, or technology vendors looking to partner with local hosts. Audience members will
have a chance to submit their questions directly to the panelists during a Q&A portion.

»CUSTOMER SUCCESS The secret power behind your ARPU«
Mass market hosting is changing. The golden era of growth has ended. In 2016, your hosting
business’s success is no longer guaranteed by overall market swell. Creating growth means
increasing your ARPU by professionalising upselling and developing your exiting customers. At the
same time, it means obtaining new clients from your competitor. The market is saturated - The only
way is upselling. But how do you do this? What upsells best for a higher rate of customer retention
and lifetime? The answer is simple – sell your customers what they were looking for in the first place
– sell your customers SUCCESS. The average small business owner buys a website not for the
technical add-ons and plugins they can buy. They weren’t looking for safety or streamlined servers.
They came to you to be successful, to have a website to be seen online, to be found by more
customers, to increase their revenue, Offering your customers success is the secret power behind
retention, lifetime, average spending and recommendation rates. Their success is your success,
start making it possible today. Speak to rankingCoach & GOOGLE.

regions to do business with one another despite very different privacy
laws, but those protections are gone. A European court invalidated
it over lax privacy protections. Some businesses are rejoicing, other

Edward SnowdenFormer CIA Employee / Whistleblower
Edward Snowden has been called "The most wanted man in the world". The U.S. computer professional achieved international fame after disclosing in June 2013 thousands of classified documents that he acquired while working as an NSA contractor. Edward's leaked documents revealed numerous global surveillance programs, many of them run by the NSA and the Five Eyes with the cooperation of telecommunication companies and European governments. A subject of controversy, Snowden has been variously called a hero, a whistleblower, a dissident, a patriot and a traitor. Like never before, his disclosures have fueled debates over mass surveillance, government secrecy, and the balance between national security and information privacy. On June 9, four days after the press first exposed a secret NSA program based on his leaks, Edward Snowden made his identity public. On June 14, 2013, the U.S. Department of Justice charged him with two counts of violating the Espionage Act and theft of government property, punishable by up to 30 years in prison. Edward flew to Moscow, where he remained in the airport transit zone for 39 days, during which time he applied for asylum in 21 countries. On August 1, 2013, Russian authorities granted him asylum. He lives nowadays in an undisclosed location in Russia. (Source: Wikipedia.com)

Dr. Buzz AldrinApollo 11 Astronaut, Advocate for Space Tourism, One of the First Two People to Walk on the Moon
Buzz Aldrin was born in Montclair, New Jersey on January 20, 1930 to Marion Moon — the
daughter of an Army Chaplain — and Edwin Eugene Aldrin — a Colonel in the Air Force, a ScD
from MIT, and an aviation pioneer. Buzz attended West Point Military Academy, graduating third
in his class. He then joined the Air Force, flying 66 combat missions in Korea, shooting down
two MIG-15's, and receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross. After a tour of duty in Germany
flying F100's, he earned his Doctorate of Science in Astronautics at MIT and wrote his thesis on
Manned Orbital Rendezvous.
In 1963 NASA selected Aldrin to become the first astronaut with a doctorate degree. Known
as “Dr. Rendezvous,” the docking techniques he devised for spacecraft in orbit became critical
to the success of the Gemini and Apollo programs and are still used today. He also pioneered
underwater training techniques to simulate spacewalking and, in 1966, performed the world’s
first successful spacewalk and later set a EVA record of 5 ½ hours. On July 20, 1969, Buzz and
Neil Armstrong became the first two humans to set foot on another world. The world’s largest
television audience in history at that time — 600 million people – witnessed this unprecedented
heroic endeavor. Upon returning, Buzz was decorated with the Presidential Medal of Freedom —
the highest American peacetime award — along with numerous intentional honors, including the
Congressional Gold Medal.
Col. Aldrin has remained at the forefront of efforts to ensure America’s continued leadership in
human space exploration. He devised a master plan for missions to Mars and has received three
US patents for his schematics of a modular space station, reusable rockets, and multi-crew
modules. He founded Starcraft Boosters, Inc. — a rocket design company — and Buzz Aldrin’s
ShareSpace Foundation — a nonprofit devoted to addressing science literacy for children.
Dr. Aldrin is an author of eight books including his best-selling autobiography “Magnificent
Desolation.” He continues to inspire today’s youth with his illustrated children’s books “Reaching
for the Moon” and “Look to the Stars.” He has also authored two space science-fact-fiction
novels: “The Return” and “Encounter with Tiber.” His latest book — “Mission to Mars: My Vision
for Space Exploration” — was published in 2013. As one of the leading space exploration
advocates, Buzz continues to chart a course for future space travel and is passionate about
inspiring the younger generations of explorers and innovators.”

In a globally connected world, high-performing ICT infrastructures are key.
The combination of multiple brand new Tier IV data centers, low energy prices, a reliable electricity grid, abundant
international and local carrier presence and a government actively supporting its ICT community, Luxembourg has a
strong reputation for ICT and data handling.
But ICT is more than infrastructures. ICT is most and foremost a tool for a community of people eager to realize
their dreams in a supportive environment.
Luxembourg is sensitive to their needs and wants to be an enabler in today’s disruptive world.
That’s why Luxembourg now bundles all the national public and private sector stakeholders in a platform called
‘Digital Luxembourg’. ‘Digital Luxembourg’ is about identifying best practices, ensuring coherent policy and bringing
up new ideas. Support for start-ups, innovation in the financial service sector, e-skills, e-government, open data,
e-mobility, high performance computing, e-health, are only a few of the topics currently in the focus in order to
make Luxembourg a perfect country to live and to work in.
Because you can’t build a new future on old technologies, Luxembourg considers the development of the ICT
sector as an investment rather than an expense.
Technology is indeed at the heart of Luxembourg’s future planning and Luxembourg is committed to staying the
best European place for you and for your business!

TintriTintri challenges the storage quo with a system built specifically for virtualized and cloud environments. Tintri eliminates
LUNs and volumes - the markers of out-of-date, physical storage - instead using individual virtual machines as the unit
of management. Organizations like AMD, Time Warner and 5 of the Fortune 15 have said ‘No to LUNs’. They manage

WHD.usa 2016
WHD.usa 2016
Join our 2016 Partners
On May 25 - 26th, 2016, WHD.usa will celebrate it’s second year
for WHD in the USA. Last year was a huge success with more than
800 attendees — many of them senior C-level decision makers. In
addition, 50 industry partners gave valuable presentations on the latest
innovations and developments in the hosting and cloud market.
One of the big updates for 2016 is our new location and the amazing
Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. The
architecture, design, art, and legends of local Native American tribes
are celebrated in every design detail. In addition to its four pools with
a 111-foot water slide and equestrian center, the AAA Four Diamond
resort includes the Aji Spa, Whirlwind 36-hole golf club, and direct
access to the Gila River Casino and entertainment complex. All of
this is situated in the middle of an open desert plain, surrounded
by mountains, just 20 minutes away from the Phoenix Sky Harbor
International Airport.
The entire team at WorldHostingDays is planning for this year to be even bigger and better than last year with more events and an expanded
line-up of sessions and exhibits. This year’s line-up of keynote speakers, sessions, and panel discussions promise some exciting insights into the
industry … and we are working on even more special guests and surprises to take WHD.usa to the next level as the premier hosting and cloud
event in the US!
Like last year, the social events will provide plenty of fun for everyone. There will be a Come2Gather reception for partners and exhibitors the night
before the event, a ConneXion Party on Day 1, and an exclusive VIP event on Day 2 — all filled with the hospitality and entertainment that WHD
events are famous for.
We can’t wait to see you there!
