! DANCING FLOWERS! INSTALLATION

  Engineer   and   ar*st,   passionate   about   sustainable     development   issues,   Alexandre  Dang  has  developed     his  own  ar*s*c  crea*on  incorpora*ng  solar  energy  as     an  energy   source  in  his  artworks  in  mo*on.  Its  solar     works,  including  his  "Dancing  Solar  Flowers",  became     emblema*c  of  his  artworks.  Each  "flower"  consists  of     an  engine  running  with  a  solar  photovoltaic  cell.  The     exhibi*on   of   his   "Dancing   Solar   Flowers"   went     around   the   world:   the   United   States   to   China,     Singapore   to  Morocco,   Brazil,   Germany,   Denmark,     Italy,  etc..  They  are  now  in  Korea!

! LA NEF DES FOUS! EXPOSITION

  Graduate  of  Fine  Arts  in  Angoulême,  Turf  worked  in     anima*on  field  and  became  a  cartoonist.  He  created     the  realm  of  "Ship  of  Fools",  his  major  achievement.     The  first   volume  was  published  in  1993,   the  last   in     2009.  The  6th    was   presented   in   preview   at   the     famous   Angoulême   Comics   Fes*val   in   2007.     Throughout   his   career,   he  was   spoYed   by   various     agencies,   including   Galeries   LafayeYe  which   asked     him  to  make  Christmas  windows  in  1999.

! THE SHACK OF OUR GRAND-PARENTS! EXHIBITION

  Born  in  1978,  Nicolas  Henry   is  graduate  of  Fine  Arts     in  Paris  and  of  the  Superior  Na*onal  School  of  Art  in     Cergy.  Alongside  his  artworks,  acclaimed  by  fes*vals,     including  "Les  Rencontres  d'Arles",  he  was  the  movie     director   of   the   project   "6   billion   others   "by   Yann     Arthus-­‐Bertrand,   exhibited   at   the   Grand   Palais   in     Paris   in   early   2009.   In   "The   Shacks   of   our     grandparents"   series,   Nicolas  Henry   pays  tribute  to     former   world   through   a   colorful   and   smart     installa*on,  where  grandmother   or   grandfather   and     his  family  pose,  revealing  her/his  imagina*on.

! THE BLUE BIRD! DANCE - THEATER - VIDEO

  Created   by   the   dance   company   "QuatreAiles"     founded   in   2002,   "The  Blue   Bird"   is   a   poe*c   and     philosophical  tale,  a  dream-­‐journey  made  of  illusions.  

  Free  adapta*on  of   the  play   of   Maeterlinck   (1908),     this  crea*on,  directed  by  Michael  Dusautoy,  recounts     the  odyssey  of  two  children  who  look  for  a  blue  bird     that   promises   to   whoever   captures   eternal     happiness.   Rooted  in  a  current   context,   this  version     pushes  temporal  markers,   levita*ng   between  video     images,  animated  objects  and  unusual  acroba*cs.

! CRONICA DE UNA HISTORIA DANZADA! DANCE

  "Cronica  de  una  historia  danzada"   is  a  show  of   the     company   "The   Explose"   d irected   by   T ino     Fernandez,   a  spanish  choreographer   who  has   lived     in  France  since    1983.  

  This   educa*onal  and   entertaining   show   traces   the     history   of   dance   through   its   highlights   :   the   first     dancer   under   Louis   XIV,   roman*c   ballets,   Merce     Cunningham,  Pina  Bausch  or  lap-­‐dancing.

! PLOTS! DANCE - VIDEO

  Ini*ated   by   the   company   "AlleRetour",   founded   in     1991   by   Jesus   Hidalgo,   "Plots"   is   a   dance   and     mul*media   crea*on.   Designed   for   three   dancers,     this   show   has,   as   its   star*ng   point,   the   idea   of     escape.  The  escape  of  a  trapped,  compartmentalized     and  enclosed  environment  /  space.  For  this  crea*on,     the  company  worked  with  students  from  the     School     of   Arts   and  Media   in   Caen,   who  wrote   a   parallel     par**on.   What   remains   of   this   research   on   the     set?  A   track  ?   A   passage  ?  A   parcel  ?   Plots  :   small     amounts  of  everything  ...

! MIXING TIME 2! CLOWN - CIRCUS

  Crea*on  of  the  company  BP  Zoom,  "Mixing  *me  2"  is     a  show  with  two  clowns  :  Mister  B  and  Mister  P,  an     epic  duo,    two  *meless  characters,  two  fana*cs  who     love   to   hate   each   other.   Mister   P   is   lunar   and     awkward,  Mister   B   is  authoritarian  and  reasonable.     They  are  complete  opposites.  But  they  share  fragility     and  humor   that  make  us  laugh  and  awakens  child  in     us.

! THE OBLIVION OF ANGELS! DANCE

  For   20   years,   the  company   «Interface»   has  offered     show,  noted  for   their   aesthe*c   dimension  and  their     mul*disciplinary  approach  abolishing    b o u n d a r i e s     between  dance,  music  and  theater.  The  «Oblivion  of     Angels»   is   a   show   about   separa*on   and   death.     Alterna*ng  between  moments  of  beauty  and  trance,     this  performance  is  s*rring.  The  images  are  striking,     the  music  is  lyrical,  their  world  :  enchan*ng.

  This   one-­‐woman-­‐show   is   a   hilariously   spectacle   of     music-­‐hall   which   combines   song,   dance,   comedy,     cabaret.  

  Animated  by   an  unbelievable  energy,   LaureYe  from     Paris   traces,   by   singing   and   through   amazing     portraits,   the   life  of   Parisian  women  who  make  us     dream   :   the   bohemian   Parisian   girl,   the   French     Cancan   dancer,   the   revolu*onary   woman,   the     bourgeois  woman  of  Saint-­‐Germain-­‐des-­‐Prés,  etc.

! PAS DE DEUX! CLASSICAL MUSIC

  "Pas   de   Deux"   is   a   duo   of   pianists.   Ka*a   and     Krivokochenko  and  Gassion  François,  who  met  at  the     Interna*onal   Compe**on   Flame,   which   they   both     won,  have  played  together  for  over  fireen  years.  

  Passionate  about   dance,   these  two  pianists  explore     the  recent   years  transcripts  of  masterpieces  of   the     repertoire   of   French   and   Russian   ballet   :   Bizet,     Prokofiev,   Tchaikovsky...   Characterized   by   a     symphonic  way   of  playing,   the  programs  of  "Pas  de     deux"  are  very  original.

! SHORT-FILM FESTIVAL ! CINEMA

  The  Interna*onal  Short  Film  Fes*val  in  Busan  offers  a     selec*on   of   interna*onal   short   films,   including     French   films,   some   of   them   from   the   most     pres*gious  film  schools  or   awarded   from   the  most     renowned   French   fes*vals   (Annecy,   Clermont     Ferrand,   ...).   The  year   2014   will  be  devoted  to  the     web-­‐documentary   with   a   day   of   mee*ngs   and     conferences  on  April  28.

  Organized  with  the  support  of  Busan  Cinema  Center     and  of   the  French   Ins*tute   of   Korea   in   Seoul,   the     French   Film   Fes*val   of   French   Alliance   screens   a     French  film  by   day   for   a  week.  The  eclec*c  program     reflects  the  latest  trends  in  French  cinema.
