Why am I being asked to sell ads? Because you are part of the cast, crew, or pit orchestra for The Sound of Music Production of a musical is an expensive endeavor BOE provides substantial support for the production but the cast has responsibility to
raise additional money to make the show financially feasible What is ad sales revenue needed for?
Costumes Lighting Sound Sets Printing of programs and posters Other Production Expenses
Why should businesses, family members, or friends purchase an ad? Ads will be seen by 2000-3000 people in one weekend — all of whom live in the
community Local businesses can reach their target audience and demonstrate their support for the
New Providence community Family and friends can show their support for cast, crew, and pit orchestra and
acknowledge talent and hard work that goes into a successful production
Who could I possibly sell ads to? Your family Your friends Your employer Your parents’ or relatives’ employer Your friends’ or siblings’ employer Your favorite retail establishment Your favorite local restaurant Your doctor, dentist, orthodontist, chiropractor, travel agent, hair salon, spa, gym,
health club, tanning salon, realtor, voice teacher, dance teacher, dog walker, etc. OR, someone from the list of past advertisers
How many ads am I required to sell?
At least two! Shout outs are a bonus and do not count toward the 2 ad sale minimum
What’s my motivation to sell more? Support the production and the cast, crew, and pit orchestra! Go Team SOM! Anyone who sells 5 or more ads will receive a $25 gift card The person who generates the most ad revenue will receive a $100 gift card
How do friends and family place surprise ads for cast, crew, or pit orchestra members?
You may give a copy of this packet to your parents, grandparents, or family members who may place ads with Lisa Barré-Quick directly

Ad Sales FAQ’s
PLEASE READ THIS!!!!
Please follow this procedure to ensure that you get credit for your ad sales and that all ads are included in
the Program.
1. ALL ADS MUST have be turned in with (1) FORM; (2) PAYMENT; and (3) AD COPY (or information for the ad to be created with additional $25 design fee).
2. ALL ADS MUST be turned in to the NPHS Musical
Mailbox in the NPHS MAIN OFFICE. ONLY ADS LEFT IN THE NPHS MUSICAL BOX WILL BE ACCEPTED.
3. AD COPY MAY BE EMAILED to
[email protected], however, forms and check must still be left in the NPHS Musical Box with indi-cation that ad copy has been e-mailed.
4. DOUBLE CHECK WITH LISA BARRÉ-QUICK if
you are selling a cover/color ad (inside front cover, inside back cover, or back cover) as these color ads are limited and sold on a first come/first serve basis. LISA BARRÉ-QUICK’S CELL IS 908 403 3242. Please call or text if you are selling a color ad.
