Approximately 87 percent (n=2,860) of the first-time freshmen class attended Orientation. The percentage of minority students who attended Orientation is lower than the overall minority first-time freshman population (33.7% compared to 37.3%). Seventy-two percent of the Orientation attendees had received their acceptance by December 1 st , compared to 67.6% of the overall first-time freshman students.

This report contains descriptive information about first-time freshmen who attended Orientation for Fall 2019. Included in this report is information about the following topics: Gender Country of Citizenship Full-Time/Part-Time Status Age State of Permanent Address Average Credit Hour Load Minority Status Religious Affiliation Program of Study Racial/Ethnic Group Entrance Test Scores Professional Field Citizenship Status High School Class Quartile Residence Hall Classification by Hours Accepted Date
The class of 3,307 first-time freshmen includes students who entered the University during Summer 2019 and Fall 2019. Approximately 87 percent (n=2,860) of the first-time freshmen class attended Orientation. The percentage of minority students who attended Orientation is lower than the overall minority first-time freshman population (33.7% compared to 37.3%). Seventy-two percent of the Orientation attendees had received their acceptance by December 1st, compared to 67.6% of the overall first-time freshman students.
