1. Product Introduction

1.1 Product Overview

SMK31 is an Android core board developed by iGentAI (Shenzhen) Technology

CO., Ltd. based on Telechips company TCC8931 processor. TCC8931 processor is

based on ARM Cotex-A9 dual-core solution, which integrates 2D and 3D graphic

processors, and supports 1080p video decoding, with operating frequency up to

1.0GHz. Comprising of TCC8931, DDR3 / LVDDR3 / LPDDR, eMMC, SMK31 core

board is the smallest system hardware platform using running Android 4.4.2.

SMK31 core board provides the cornerstone for you to focus on your expertise in

the industry, including product ID, structure and applications to make it products.

SMK31 core board as the main control module of in-vehicle entertainment

navigation system program, combined with android 4.4.2 stable system, through

communication control with external MCU, provides customers with cost-effective

in-vehicle entertainment navigation program design, suitable for automotive

multimedia single, dual Ingot structure and other equipment.

■ 2 USB interfaces: 1x USB2.0 OTG; 1x USB3.0 Host, can be extended through

the USB Hub;

■ Includes 1x I2S, 2x SDIOs, 3x I2Cs, 3x UARTs;

Support for BT4.0; support A2DP, HFP, AVRCP, PBAP, P2P protocol, built-in

noise cancellation, echo processing circuit;

■ New generation GNSS navigation system, can also search to GPS, GLONASS

and Beidou Satellite, and backstage running, can automatically switch to search

for more satellites; satellite with the best signal will provide positioning;

■ support 3D virtual map;

■ Mobile phone interconnection (WIFI & USB), support dual-screen

interactive interaction, two-way control;

■ Support Apple Carplay, Google Auto (manufacturers need to obtain license

4. Key Points for Designing Baseboard Circuit.

4.1. This product supports UART, I2C interface control; if user’s UART, I2C

voltage is 5V, it needs to be converted to 3.3V.

4.2. RTC design

The module RTC_POWER needs to be separately connected to the power

supply branch that will not be cut off, in order to guarantee RTC time

continuity.
