Riders: Making good products even betterNo single product can meet every client’s needs. That’s why we provide high quality riders to allow you to add additional benefits to base policies.
• Accelerated Benefit Rider (ABR): The ABR provides additional protection to the client if they become chronically or terminally ill. At no additional annual cost, the rider allows the client to accelerate a portion of their future death benefit to help pay for their needs today.
• Additional Paid-Up Insurance Rider (API): The API rider allows your client to fund a whole life policy over and above base policy premium. It can be an excellent way to increase long term return and purchase increased death benefit.
• Overloan Protection Rider: Available on Virtus IUL, this rider allows your client to choose a reduced paid-up option on a heavily loaned policy. This rider is designed to try to prevent the policy from lapsing during the client’s life.

FlexTerm Plus The Plus series of term puts the choice of product in your clients hands when they choose to convert their term insurance. Why convert?
• Temporary coverage (Term) is not necessarily the best way to protect against a certain loss.
• Permanent life insurance can provide enhanced benefits such as a growing death benefit and cash value that can be used at your clients’ discretion.
• While initial premiums for permanent coverage are higher than for term, the extended cost of coverage to life expectancy is typically much lower with a permanent policy.

Prestige Value IIIPrestige Value III’s strength lies in its early guaranteed cash value and an early guaranteed “breakeven” point. On a guaranteed basis, cumulative cash value can exceed premiums paid as early as the 11th policy year.

WHOLE LIFE INSURANCE
• Strong long-term cash values
• Excellent death benefit protection
• Strong dividend stream
Prestige 100Prestige 100 is the foundation of Ohio National’s whole life insurance portfolio. The dividend stream builds cash value and death benefit when used to purchase paid-up additional insurance (PUAs). In turn, can gener-ate additional dividends over time that can further enhance a policy’s cash value and death benefit.
Prestige 100 can be designed as a blended policy with our Plus (yearly renewable term) Rider to reduce overall premiums without sacrificing ini-tial death benefit. It may also be used to heavily fund short-pay scenarios.

The optional Accelerated Benefit Rider provides for a partial acceleration of the policy death benefit in the event that the base policy insured is certified by a licensed physician as being chronically ill or terminally ill. By taking an accelerated death benefit payment, a lien is created against the policy death benefit. The lien accrues carrying charges at an adjustable rate we declare. The lien, including the lien carrying charges, will be deducted from the total death benefit otherwise payable to the policy beneficiary(ies) and will reduce the cash value available for policy loans, surrenders, or the exercise of any non-forfeiture option. The required premium for the policy must still be paid even if an accelerated death benefit is taken. If an accelerated benefit is taken and the policy lapses or otherwise terminates, a taxable event may occur. Any death benefit provided by an optional Accidental Death Benefit Rider is not available for acceleration under this rider.
