3 new types of suction devices allow a 100 percent avoidance of moisture adsorption of the dried material anew in the waiting or conveying mode.

The docking plate including the dryer control is fixed directly on the injection molding machine. The drying containers are docked via a sliding rail. The dried granules are conveyed via a suction device onto the injection molding machine.

For all bulk bags with foil inlet or loops
During the suction process, the flexible bulk bag wall is pulled up and inwards via the auto-matic bag tightening system.
As a result, the bag tightens and the bulk material in the border area flows to the central suction point.
At the end of the discharging process, the almost empty bulk bag is automatically lifted up from the bottom, enabling a complete material discharge.

OKTOMAT® SYSTEM
The discharging of octabins and BigBags through suction pipes is often difficult and not always practical. The conveying is interrupted too often and leads to production disruptions. The film bag is sucked in often or the material does not flow continuously, which is particularly problematic at the end of the discharging process. Often an operator has to guide the suction pipe by hand for a longer period of time in order to discharge a bulk bag.
OKTOMAT® Emptying stationsThe OKTOMAT® uses a vibrating suction head instead of the suction pipe and the automatic bag tightening mechanism pulls the foil inlet or BigBag upwards. The suction head floats and vibrates in the material and breaks up lumps. The loosened material flows towards the middle and is continuously sucked.

The Oktomat® discharging stations are autarchic and matching for every suction conveying system for bulk materials. As soon there is a minimum vacuum in the conveying pipeline or a relay signal is applied to the control unit, the OKTOMAT® switches on.

During whirling up / circulation, ionisized air will be sucked through the material batch to be dedusted reducing the binding force between dust particles and resins as far as the dust dissolves and can be sucked out.

The solution
Dust in material causes lowered mechanical properties of technical plastic resins, leads to problems with surface finish in case of transparent parts, to high rate of rejects basing on smudges or white/black dots in transparent injection moul-
ding parts like for example optical lenses of PC and PMMA, to unstable processes due to impurities in the plasticizing unit and thus to high cleaning efforts with machine down times.
HELIOclean® is a combined conveying-/mixing and dedusting system to be mounted di-rectly on the injection moulding machine/ drying container and to feed virgin material and/or regrind.
The resin/regrind is sucked by means of in-tegrated conveying techniques into the de-dusting chamber. The conveying speed is infinitely preselectable thus avoiding dust creation caused by abrasion.
An exactly unchanging lot will be dedusted by air separating with ion shower then. The resin/regrind will be whirled just as high that it will not touch the sieve disc at dust outlet arising new dust.
