Where an employer does not nominate a default investment strategy, member contributions will be invested in the Trustee’s default strategy, OptiMix Balanced. Employers can also elect to choose an investment strategy which suits the overall needs of the plan. Members can nominate their own personal investment strategy at any time.

The optimal mix of investment managers

Increasingly many super funds are looking to multi-manager or ‘Manage the Managers’ style investments as the default strategy for their employer super plans. Multi-manager and Manage the Managers (MTM) investments offer comprehensive diversification across different asset classes and investment managers, simply and conveniently, through the one investment. The aim of these types of funds is to reduce investment volatility and produce strong long term performance for investors.

Comprehensive and convenient insurance options Integra Super helps to protect members and their families by offering a range of comprehensive and competitively priced death, total and permanent disablement and group salary continuance (income protection) options. Employers can easily select the type and level of cover required.

Insurance cover options available through Integra Super

Death only (including Terminal Illness)

Death (including Terminal Illness) and Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD)

Group Salary Continuance (GSC) with the flexibility of either � year or to age �5 benefit period

These insurance options are available as stand alone arrangements or a combination of either Death Only and GSC or Death and TPD and GSC. TPD only cover is not available.

Default cover

To make it easy for employers to provide all employees with a basic level of insurance protection, Integra Super plans are automatically established with one unit of Standard Death and TPD default insurance cover. This means that all members of the plan, regardless of their occupation, will have insurance cover upon joining.

Tailored Death and TPD and GSC cover

Employers can choose to tailor the insurance arrangements for the plan to meet the needs of employees.

When an employer establishes additional insurance cover for their plan, they may be provided with an Automatic Acceptance Level (AAL). An AAL is a specified amount of insurance cover available to eligible members within the plan without them needing to provide evidence of good health. The AAL that applies will depend upon the plan (please refer to the table opposite).

Insurance protection for family members

Family members may also be able to access Death and TPD cover (subject to application and approval). Eligible family members include parents, children, spouses, defactos, partners, brothers and sisters and there is no limit to the number of family members that a member can introduce to Integra Super.

Employees can introduce members of their family to Integra Super. By joining as a family member, they join Integra Super Personal where they may benefit from all Integra Super has to offer, including access to insurance cover, member services and any Administration Fee discounts applicable to the plan.

Members keep many of their benefits when changing jobs

One of the benefits of Integra Super is that when members change jobs they can continue to receive many of the benefits Integra Super provides. This may include access to group based fees and insurance premiums, as well as the full range of member services they currently enjoy.

All employers with an Integra Super plan have access to EasyTransact, ING’s time-saving online superannuation servicing system. EasyTransact allows employers to take control of their super plan 24 hours a day, any day of the week:

Through EasyTransact employers can also access ING’s super clearing service, which reduces the administrative burden employers face if required to submit member contributions to multiple funds through multiple providers.

Other convenient contribution payment methods

Employers and employees can make contributions to their super account via a number of simple and convenient payment methods including BPAY, internet banking (EFT), Direct Debit or cheque.

BPAY and Internet banking (EFT) payment options can be utilised whenever employers or employees choose, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unique member reference numbers and Biller Codes can be requested over the phone simply by calling 133 665 weekdays, between 8am and 8pm (Sydney time).

Account management for larger plans

To help make life easier, Integra Super offers an account management service for larger plans. Account Managers will assist with transitioning the plan, provide policy committee support, and overarching plan management.

Dedicated customer service and reliable administration support

A dedicated team of customer service consultants are on hand to provide employers with reliable administration support. This team is responsible for the day to day administration and servicing of the plan and is available on 133 665 weekdays, between 8am to 8pm (Sydney time) or online at [email protected]

Support when establishing a policy committee

ING has developed support materials for employers and members, which can be used to establish a policy committee, when a plan grows in size. The role of the policy committee is to ensure that ING is kept aware of the concerns of members and employers on an ongoing basis and is responsible for acting in the best interests of the super plan.

An easy way for employees to increase their retirement savings quickly is to get it all together in the one place – in their Integra Super account. Consolidating super accounts is not only convenient but can mean lower fees and an easier way of keeping track of and managing super savings. Integra Super provides a free rollover assistance service to help employees transfer their super from other funds into Integra Super.

New member set up process

All new members will receive a Member Welcome Kit upon joining. The kit provides new members with all the necessary tools needed to help set up and manage their new Integra Super account. The kit includes:

A Welcome Statement A format that is simple, clear and easy to understand. Members can confirm their personal details, the investment funds their employer plan is currently invested in, their insurance arrangements and other plan specific fee information.

A step by step installation CD and guide The guide explains how to get set up online as well as what’s available. The CD will link directly through to the registration confirmation page of the new online Member Super Centre.

A Member Card Including their Unique ID to access their account information online (a PIN is mailed separately).

Automatic online pre-registration for new members

All new members will automatically be registered for the Member Super Centre upon joining. To activate their registration, they will need to login to www.ing.com.au/member with their Unique ID (provided on their Member Card) and PIN (mailed separately).

Half yearly newsletters and improved Member Update and Annual Report Focuses on addressing the information needs and requirements of members.

Seminar and educational materials Help you provide members with information about their super.

New employee Induction Kit To help promote the employer default plan to new employees our Induction Kit is available for employers to distribute to all new employees when they start work. The kit provides a summary of what employees will receive upon joining ING, as well as helping employers meet their Choice of Fund obligations.

Changing Jobs Kit Once we have been notified by an employer that an employee’s service has ceased, a Changing Jobs Kit will be sent to that member. This kit includes a Choice of Superannuation Fund Nomination Form which the member can give to their new employer to continue to have their contributions paid into their Integra Super Personal account. We encourage employers to notify us as soon as an employee leaves so we can send a kit to them.
