Note: The incoming fiber must have at least a 3-inch staple length. Our mill is unable to process less than 2 lbs. of fiber into yarn. 3 ply is not available in fingering and lace weight. Suri Fiber requires dry tumbling, washing and picking to be done twice; followed by conditioning for 24 hours before carding. Suri Fiber may also require a Huacaya or Merino blend to add more crimp to the fiber. We will make every effort possible to minimize fiber loss, but the average loss of fiber is 20%-30%.
