6. A ball rolls over the edge of a table with a velocity of 8 m/s, if it reaches 10 meters from the point where the table ended, from what height was launched?

7. A body is thrown horizontally with a velocity of 30 m/s from a height of 80 meters. a) Determine how far, on the horizontal line of the launch point, the body will fall to the ground and b) what will be the velocity at the time of landfall.

8. From the mast of as hip, at a height of 10 meters above the deck, a ball is dropped. The ships velocity is 18 km/h. How far will the ship while the ball drops? Where will drop the ball? What will be the path of motion of the ball relative to the surface of the sea? What will be the velocity of the ball touching the deck?

9. There is chalk on the edge of the table. The chalk is launched, with a horizontal pulse and a direction perpendicular to the board. The footprint of the chalk on the board is 20 centimeters below the surface of the table. The distance from the board to the table is 1 meter. Determine the initial velocity of the chalk.

10. If we have the launch a package of medicines from a salvage aircraft flying horizontally with a velocity of 360 km/h at a height of 2 kilometers, so that the package falls in a certain place, at what distance from the site, as measured by the horizontal we must throw the package?

PROJECTILE THROW

1. Calculate: a) The range, b) the time of flight, and c) the maximum height of a projectile with an initial velocity of 400 m/s and an elevation angle of 40.

a) Its range.b) Its time of flight.c) Its horizontal range.

3. An arrow is launched with a velocity of 60 m/s and reaches a maximum height of 150 meters, calculate:

a) Its range.b) Its time of flight.c) Its horizontal range.

4. An arrow is launched with a velocity of 50 m/s and reaches a maximum height of 120 meters, calculate:

d) Its range.e) Its time of flight.f) Its horizontal range.

5. A projectile is shot to the air with an angle such that the vertical component of its initial velocity (V0y) is 27 m/s and its horizontal component of its initial velocity (V0x) is 36 m/s.

a) What will be the initial velocity of the projectile (magnitude and direction)?b) How long does the projectile remain in the air?c) What horizontal distance will it travel?

6. A projectile is launched with an angle of 53 respect to the horizontal from a drain at 150 meters high.
