• The stakeholder that was chosen said specific things that indicated his feelings towards the school-to-work strategy.

– Inefficient in that the interview process doesn’t always mean you are a good fit for the job.

– Schooling helps with employment prospects, but may not necessary give you the skills you need to succeed.

– The positives of the interview process if you can learn more about what work people do, which is helpful.

– Not sure that schooling (higher education) would lead to better career prospective

• He is researching programs that would be a good fit as well as talking to individuals

• The interview also consisted speaking to him about the time he did spend looking for employment opportunities after his undergraduate degree. He would spend time daily looking for employment opportunities, as well as speaking to people who went to graduate programs he was interested in.

• There may be a benefit to attending graduate studies, but not sure if it is as costly as the sticker price.

• Graduate school is not useful for people interested in business.

• Social construct that does not always equate to better wages, higher utility, ect.

A thoughtful, working professional who is business minded and enjoys challenges needs a way to advance his career and build his network Because his peer group are doing the similar things to advance their careers.
