PROBATCH MAX Dry Polymer Activation The IPM Systems’ ProBatch Max Dry Polymer Activation System is designed for medium to high flow applications. The ProBatch Max comes in various loading and size configurations to fit your unique application and plant layout. The IPM Systems’ ProBatch Max dry polymer activation system is designed with two things in mind: reduction of polymer use and solids capture. This is done through a two stage hydration method. The first stage is primary hydration; which takes place in IPM’s Wetting Bowl. The wetting bowl’s water inlet is designed to produce a cyclone effect inside the bowl to properly initiate the hydration process of the dry poly- mer. The wetted polymer is transferred to a mix/age tank via an eductor, for further hydration in a low intensity environment. IPM provides a final solution pump skid to send the properly hydrated polymer to process. SUPERIOR POLYMER ACTIVATION
The Feed and Wetting Skid has a variety of options to fit each
application but each ProBatch Max System includes the following:
A Bulk Bag or Manual Bag unloader to store Dry Polymer. A Volumetric
Auger Feeder to dispense the dry polymer accurately into the Wetting
Bowl/Eductor System. As well as an Integrated Controls Package to
operate the system.
Some optional Items include: Dust collection either floor mounted,
frame mounted or directly mounted to feeder transition with a Bag
Dump Station. Booster Pump if application requires it, as well an an
emulsion polymer pump bypass.

SOLUTION DELIVERY
Once the Polymer is properly activated a pump skid is used to transfer
the solution to the desired process point. Comes complete with local
controls, pumps, pressure gauges and static mixers.
HYDRATION
Mix tanks can be supplied in two different configurations, stacked or
side by side. The polymer solution is mixed in one tank for a set period
of time and then aged before final solution is used. Typical equipment
included: Mixers, dump valve, piping and junction box.
