In case of the shockgiven to Tripod by force

Caution

When the shock has been givento the tripods &/or legs such asfalling down please check wellwhether there are cracks, flaws,etc. on the pipes, or not. Whenyou find any cracks, flaws, etc. onthe pipes, please stop to use itand ask to repair. It may bewounded when some of fiberscame out from the pipes. In thatcase, please do not touch it.

Three position adjustablelegs

To change the angle of each leg,close the Leg slightly, and thenpull the Leg angle adjustment lockout. There is a choice of two otherangle positions. After choosing thedesired leg angle, securely push inthe Adjustment lock.

Adjusting elevation tension

Elevating the Center column

The Center column (elevator) will begoing up and down, if the Centercolumn stopper is loosened and theCrank handle is turned.

Please use the Crank handle ofthe Center column in the height toabout 2/3 as the maximum. If not,it may cause unwanted cameramovement.

Please tighten the Center columnstopper before lifting your hand fromthe Crank handle. Unexpected fallof the Center column can beprevented.

The tension of the Center columncan be adjusted by turning theCenter column tensionadjustment tube.

Prepare an attached Allen wrench.When you want to change to U1/4screw, please remove the Centercolumn plate and then, loosen thefixing screw with a Allen wrench(2 mm width).

How to change thePanhead attachmentscrew to small size

1. Remove the lower Base plate .2. Loosen the Center column

tension adjustment tube threeor four complete turns.

5. Match the Groove of the Longcenter column to the Key guideinside the body of the tripod.Check to be sure this isperfectly matched.

6. Turn the Crank handle toengage the gear on the Longcenter column. Check to besure operation is smooth.Replace the Base plate.

3. Using the Crank handle, crankout the Center column, whileholding on to the head.

4. Remove the lower Base platefrom the Short center column.

How to reattach the "FAJ ring"

In case, the FAJ ring was detached from Centercolumn during the process of exchanging Centercolumn, reattach is as per following steps.1. Loosen Center column tension adjustment

tube by rotating counterclockwise, and pull itout to downward.

2. Unite the Key of FAJ ring with the Groove ofCenter column, and insert it into Centercolumn from thinner end.

3. Replace Center column tension adjustmenttube by rotating clockwise.

Using a Short center column

When you extend the legs, please proceed fromthe upper section.When you fold the legs, please proceed from the lower section. It will be steady to grip the upper part of pipe just above the Lock Nut.Do not remove the nut and do not take to pieces. If it has been removed, insert it as per theabove specification.
