The Iseami house won international awards because of its good bioclimatic design; this house is an idyllic place where visitors can feel comfortably protected from the weather and environmental conditions while enjoying the magic of tropical flora and fauna.

The house is located in Playa Carate; it's accessible either by car, through the Puerto Jimenez community, or air, since an

airfield is located just a few hundred meters away.

It is a 100% self-sufficient house, designed for visitors to enjoy a luxurious private atmosphere. On the first floor, there is a terrace, an office, a pool, a bathroom, and a

meeting area while the master bedroom is on the second floor and a wide area for private activities.

Important aspects such as the highly active biological green area, a structure that causes no harm to nature and the comfort of its

visitors were considered while building the house.

The Iseami house has a 360 degrees view that allows you to see the Pacific Ocean and delight yourself contemplating the habitat of 375 species of birds, 124 species of land mammals, 71 species

of reptiles and 46 species of amphibians.

In other words, the house is located just where the sea, the beach, and the protected forest reserves in the edge of the Corcovado National Park meet,

one of the most valuable natural treasures of Costa Rica.

The Iseami house has an alternative power generation system which consists of a low-impact hydroelectric plant and a solar power plant; there are plans

to install a wind generator to produce energy out of the wind.

Iseami also provides you with food services or utensils you need to prepare your own food; it also includes the beds, a fully equipped kitchen with four

burner stove, gas oven, refrigerator, TV, DVD, lights, and fans.
