-Teoría del aprendizaje de L2:Los alumnos deben saber lo que quiere decir el contenido para saber lo que están buscando en el lenguaje.
-Método de enseñanza: a) cuenta con un trasfondo académico de otra disciplina, b) la secuencia de los contenidos no la marca la lengua sino los contenidos curriculares, c) la lengua 2 se usa exclusiva o mayoritariamente.
-Procedimientos: Los materiales son auténticos porque son de naturaleza académica
