SCHOOL LUNCH:
The end of the year is approaching! As of now,
students are allowed to charge up to 10.00 in
reimbursable meals before receiving a voucher
meal (of no cost). In an effort to reduce nega-
tive balances, starting May 25th we will no
longer allow meal charges.
We are very excited about our Food Pantry here at Lewisville Elementary School. It is a wonderful commitment to our students and their families. We would like to offer a special thanks to: Lowes Foods, Walter Hardwick, Richard and Karen Bowen, Kelly Mor-ris , Jackie Divonzo, West Town Restaurant, Jane & Earl Hous-ka, Dana & Thomas Brookshire, Lewisville United Methodist Church (congregation, youth and Boy Scouts), Supreme Mainte-nance Organization (SMO), Bernice Mabe, Martha McKenna, Meghan Lidquist, , Unity Moravian Church, West Bend Masonic Lodge, Sunrise United Methodist Church, John Moncrieff and J. Royal Co., Sharon United Methodist Church, Harmony Grove United Methodist Church, Unity Moravian Church, Tiger Kim’s,
Union United Methodist Church, McManus Family, Rotary Club of West Forsyth, Lewisville Baptist Church, Suzanne Wuwert, Lewisville Community Assistance Program, Liberty Restau-rant, Shiloh Lutheran Church, Food Lion for their continuing contr ibutions. Through their ef-forts, we will be able to continue to help families during the summer break to meet some of their food needs. Thanks also to all of our parents and children that have contributed food for our pantry this year.
REPORT CARDS
Each student’s last report card will be
mailed home in June.
Due to the size of the
report card, because of
testing and school as-
signments, we ask that
you send your child’s
teacher (3) three 49 cent
stamps for Report Card. Thank You!!
Food Pantry
Don’t forget our aluminum can collection trailer in the parking lot off Lewisville-Clemmons Road. This is another Easy way to earn money for LES.
5th Grade end of year picnic will be
at Shallowford Square Pavillion
June 8th. More in-formation will be
sent home.
Lost and Found
Parents, please go through our lost and found in the front office. Any items left after June 11th will be
donated.
All medication MUST be picked up by June 15th or it will be disposed
of.
Epipens and inhalers will be sent home with the student on the last
day of school.
If your student needs medication in the 2018-2019 school year please
have your doctor complete all medication forms Forms can be
picked up at the school.

JUNE SPECIALS ROTATION 2018
END OF GRADE TESTS
It is once again time for our students to take their End of Grade Tests. The Testing schedule is May 31st, Just 1st and June 2nd. Because of the importance of these tests, we ask your cooperation with the following:
1. Make sure your child comes to school on time so that classes will not be interrupted.
2. Try to rearrange doctor and dental appointments so that they are NOT scheduled in the morning.
3. Please make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep (8-10 hours).
4. Please make the extra effort to make sure your child eats a good breakfast.
5. If your child wears glasses, please make sure that he/she has them at school.
6. Remind your child to ask the teacher questions if he/she does not understand the test directions.
7. Advise your child not to worry about the tests, and express your confidence in his/her ability to do well on the test.
8. Encourage your child to do the best he/she possibly can on the test.

Kindergarten will be on August 23rd, 2018 at 9:00 am-11:30am

Write your teacher a letter and thank them for all they do! Tuesday: Every superhero needs vital tools! Bring in school supplies. Wednesday: Every superhero needs an energy boost!
