Dance Festival Last Monday and Wednesday nights the Belair PS dance groups performed in the Hunter Schools Dance Festival at Wests Newcastle. The senior group danced to ‘Can’t Hold Us’ and the junior group performed ‘Happy’. Staff from other schools as well as members of the audience commented on the excellent energy, talent and choreography displayed by both groups. This is a reflection of the high level of commitment from the dancers, their families who get the students to early morning lessons and our wonderful dance teacher and choreography Miss Zoe! Thank you to Miss Zoe and Mrs Mounser for preparing the students to showcase our school! Photos of our dance group performers can be found on the website version of today’s newsletter.
Book Club and Education Week Celebrations ~ Thursday 25 August All families are invited to join our celebrations on Thursday 25 August. A full page information sheet is on the website version of today’s newsletter.
Year 6 Farewell Meeting A meeting will be held in Mrs Jardine’s classroom on Tuesday 9 August at 3pm for any Year 6 parents interested in helping to organise the Year 6 Farewell.
