forgetting and without stress

o When we are patient we will not create much problems

o We will get the full credit for our patience from Allah the Almighty.

o We will find it easy to go through difficult problems if we are patient

Here is a story of how Prophet Mohammed S.A.W won with his patience when

a lady tortured him so much:

There used to be a lady who lived in the same place as Rasulullah. Rasulullah at

that point of time was working really hard to spread the glory of Allah and the great

lifestyle of Islam. But many who did not agree with Rasulullah disliked him. The lady

was also one of them who disliked Rasulullah. She will throw rubbish at Rasulullah‟s

lawn every day. And not only that when Rasulullah walks her way she will tend to

criticize him badly. This old lady was even cruel when She sees rasulullah Praying

she will throw camel‟s waste on top of him when he is praying. Naudubillah. Even

after all she did Rasulullah was not angry with her at all. He was very patient

throughout everyday when she did that to him.

One day when Rasulullah was on his way he did not see her as usual as every day.

And even when he went to pray he was looking around whether if she is anywhere

around. He later asked someone and found that she was unwell. Rasulullah went to

the lady‟s house to see her. And the old lady got shocked and surprised to see

Rasulullah. She asked Rasulullah that “ even after all the difficulties that you faced

because of me you didn‟t hate me and you are a very kind person and so caring that

you came to see me”. “Please forgive me”. She said to Rasulullah. Rasulullah

forgave her and she took up Islam and appreciated Allah, Rasulullah and Islam.

TOPIC: BEING TRUTHFUL

Telling the truth is a good habit.

When we speak the truth we will get closer to Allah as Allah likes those who speak the truth.

We will get good benefits from Allah in this world and after this world.

Lying is a sin and Allah hates those who lie.

If you always speak the truth, you safe yourself from a lot of problems and eventually you won‟t do anything wrong.

When we speak the truth we will gain respect and trust from others, which is also a benefit.

Picking up good habits prevents you from following any bad habits.

We should not lie to anyone (e.g. parents, siblings, teachers, friends and everyone.)

A good Muslim will always speak the truth and will not lie and will always ask for forgiveness.

32

Here is the story about a person, who did a lot of bad things, but his promise

to tell the truth saved him.

Once a man came to the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and said, “O prophet of Allah,

I have many bad habits. Which one of them should I give up first?” The prophet said,

“Give up telling lies first and always speak the truth.” The man promise to do so and

went home.

At night the man was about to go out to steal. Before going out he thought for a

moment about the promise he made with prophet. “If tomorrow the prophet asks me

where I went last night, what shall I say? Shall I say I went to steal? No, I cannot say

that I went to steal and I cannot lie too. If I tell the truth, everyone will start hating me

and call me a thief. I would be punished for stealing.” So the man decided not to

steal that night, and gave up his bad habit.

In this way, whenever the man thought of doing something bad, he remembers his

promise made to Prophet Muhammad (S. A.W) to tell the truth at all times. One by

one, he gave up all his bad habits and became a good Muslim and a very good

person.

If you always speak the truth, you can be a good person, a good Muslim whom Allah

likes and favours. If Allah our creator is pleased with us he will reward us with

paradise, which is full of happiness and joy.

Jealousy and envy are two faults that a Muslim should never have.

These are a kind of illness which needs to be removed from our hearts and

You avoid them and talk behind their back

You feel happy when they are suffering or in difficulty

You are jealous that your best friend is very close somebody else and not you

Why is it bad?

When we become jealous of worldly things, it can cause us to behave

Allah has given us many blessings (health, family, wealth and comfort). Allah

them.

What Muhammad (s.a.w) has said-

Enemies of blessing of Allah are those who are envious

Only two persons are worthy of being envied: a person upon whom Allah

upon whom Allah bestows wisdom by which he judges and which he teaches

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and a time when

Muslims across the world will fast (do not eat) during the hours of daylight.

It is a special and holy month for Muslims. Every year on this month, Muslims

fast for approximately 30 days until Eid arrives

Muslims believe that the gates of Heaven (Jannah) are open and the gates of Hell (Jahanam) are locked for the duration of Ramadan.

Steps

Every Muslim is expected to fast from sunrise to sunset. Muslims must not eat

or drink during daylight hours.

During Ramadan Muslims get up early before dawn (Fajr) and have a light

meal. This time is known as Suhoor.

At the end of each day (Maghrib), Muslims traditionally break their fast with a

meal called the iftar.

Following the custom of Prophet Muhammad, the fast is often broken with

dates, and then followed by a prayer and dinner.

Many Muslims will try to read the whole of the Qur'an at least once during

Ramadan or make sure that they read more Qur'an during this month.

History behind hajj

Prophet Ibrahim (a.s.) was told to send Hajar and Ismail (a.s.), his eldest son, to a desert with no water. There, with no water, Hajar walked between hills of Marwa and Safa. Then later water comes from the ground. The water was named Zam-Zam. Now the Zam-Zam well is found near the Ka‟ba

Allah told Prophet Ibrahim (a.s.) to slaughter his son. Prophet Ibrahim (a.s.) did as Allah told, and when he was about to cut the neck of his son, an angel

brought down the ship and Prophet Ibrahim (a.s.) was told to slaughter the sheep instead.

Allah ordered Prophet Ibrahim (a.s.) and Prophet Ismail (a.s.) to build the Ka‟ba. After building it, many people came to Mecca to worship Allah and the Hajj pilgrimage started.

How to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha? [In the month of Zul Haj]

This is the other big festival every year.

It coincides with the Hajj.

It is to remember the time when Ibrahim was going to sacrifice his own son to prove obedience to God.

Muslims consider that Ibrahim (a.s.) was a prophet or messenger from God. Again they go to the mosque together for prayers.

Later in the day they sacrifice a sheep and give one third of the meat away to remember Ibrahim's (a.s.) sacrifice.
