Welcome to FeSTa Primavera 2020 masquerade Ball!

letter from theeditor

We are delighted to welcome you to our special celebration to benefit St. Helena Montessori School. Hosted by our incredible Parents’ Guild, led by PG President Cameron Crebs, and aided by Matthew Heil and Ted Stonbely, an incredible team of committee members has put together an opportunity to bask in the completion of our shared vision.

This year’s Festa builds upon the continuous support of so many members of our extended community. We want this year’s event to serve as an opportunity not only for all of us to be together in support of our students, staff and school, but also to share in the gratitude we have for all that have helped us achieve so much. We are, indeed, here because of others, and this campus is an endless story of gratitude.

Founded in 1981, our school is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit public benefit educational corporation. We now serve over 200+ children from 18 months through 15 years of age, from toddler to adolescent on a beautiful, ideally-suited campus!

The proceeds from FESTA 2020 will play an integral and essential role in allowing us to continue to offer financial aid, scholarships, and educational materials for all of our students. Donations this evening will also help to fund the professional development of our beloved faculty and staff as well as maintain the amazing facilities we have now completed building! These funds will ensure that the vision and legacy that has gotten us here today, continues to propel us into the future.

We are so pleased to have your support in our pursuit of excellence in Montessori education. Your continued generosity ensures that children from all parts of the Napa Valley and beyond have the opportunity to experience the unparalleled education offered through the genuine Montessori method. Tonight’s event celebrates the outstanding achievements we have attained in making this school a reality and ensuring that this legacy continues through many years to come.

Thank you for joining and supporting us this evening!

ascend to PromontorY

“As we evolve through the seasons of our lives, there is always the “missing piece” that draws us onwards…When I first came upon the land that would become Promontory, its untamed ruggedness was a surprise – quite different from anything I had encountered in the Napa Valley. This wild place, overlooked for most of the 20th century, emanated a power and a mystery and an undefinable allure. It wasn’t until the first decade of the 21st century that we had the good fortune of acquiring the unmarked territory. This was the beginning of a new era, a time of exploration and discovery led by the next generation.” ~ H. William Harlan

gratitude: fund-a-need

“History should not be taught as a collection of dates and places, but rather be approached to arouse gratitude and appreciation. This gratitude should be aroused first to the law and order of the universe and the preparation of the environment into which human beings came.” ~ Dr. Maria Montessori

at this moment in time, we wish to celebrate all that we have accomplished and look forward to what we must do to be great stewards of this beautiful, innovative institution – ensuring that it has a place in the pantheon of educational excellence for generations to come.

Tonight’s “Fund-a-Need” will reinvigorate St. Helena Montessori’s mission of providing an excellent aMi Montessori education to the children of this Valley through funding scholarships and financial aid for deserving families; professional development, workshops, and benefits for our beloved and esteemed faculty and staff; and maintenance and operating costs for this beautiful campus. colossal tomahaWk
