The Real W reckersStand-pat, newspapers and

spellbinders in various parts of the State who are supporting Booth and who are asserting that Hiram W. Johnson is endeavoring to break up the Republican party in California, are (apparently) losing sight o f the fact that they themselves are doing more by their attacks on Gov. Johnson to bring about the party breakup and to place California in the Wilson column in November than any other agency.

Break up the Republican party, indeed ! Why so bent are the mass o f the Republican voters o f California upon the election of Hiram W. Johnson to the Senate of the Uniled States that they would sacrifice Hughes at a word.

If these agencies are so very anxious for the success of the national Republican party and Hughes it is high time for them to give Johnson a square deal.
